I read somewhere that cats stay awake while we sleep because they’re worried about us and try to guard us. I don’t put much weight into it, but it’s such a sweet thought, and I’m very fond of it. Of course, I’m not sure what that says about my cats, who sleep through the entire night >.> And yes—love the cuddles. Warm, soft, gentle, all snuggly and wiggly under the covers. I wish you could bring him on stream but just pixel/blur him out like a censor bar to protect his identity lol I turn into an octopus when cuddling 🐙. Am I the only one who didn't hear your Danish accent in the ramblefap? Maybe I was focused on, uh, other things. 👀 Susan wakes me up in the mornings, too. She gets really close to my face and meows and purrs, and then when she knows I'm awake she expects pets and scritches, but only for a very short time. Then she moves to the end of the bed and loafs until i get up to feed her. Also, have you ever noticed that cats have an especially... breathy? higher pitched? purr when they want something? I can hear Menace doing it. He's willing you out of the bed with the power of his special purrs, lol. I'm truly not sure how touchy I would be with you. I guess we'll just have to test it and find out. Oh well. It's for science. It's nice waking up with you. Or in my case tonight, winding down at the end of the day. You're a gem, Crunch. Menace!! Hello Darling!!🥰 His purs are so relaxing. Also I'm pretty sure that cats watch over us while we sleep because they know that sleeping leaves us vulnerable. My kitty watches over everyone at night when we're sleeping and always greets us when we wake up! Seems like menace thought you were sleeping too long and decided it was time for you to get up🤭
