Hello cutie.

I’m lucky to have a place to stay for 2 months catsitting in Belgium for July-September, but will have 2 weeks of not wanting to bother my friends couch surfing so…

How about this. If you want to, you can suggest cities in Europe I could travel to in the comments (or dms if you prefer). Maybe with a specific must-see thing in mind, and I’ll pick my favourite 3 and have you guys vote on the picks in a poll! As long as it is within Europe / GB, the flights are nice and cheap enough for me. I’ll likely be backpack hostel/airbnb’ing at the destination.

I’ve been nice and productive lately, with another early access coming out soon (on the editing board) - plus i’ll very likely record an update talk rambly thing soon for you 🤍

Okay I don’t have a suggestion yet (Italian Crunch? Maybe??) but this is the cutest idea and I love that we get to pick up the cosy couch and travel along

I cast my vote for Florence/Firenze! Now, keep in mind I haven't been in a looooong time so I can't speak to how it is right now, but I suspect you could kill two weeks there EASILY. Sooooo much cool stuff to see and do and you could really take your time soaking it up. Gosh, I might be a little jealous! This is such a fun idea! Thanks for including us. 🥰

thats so cool. id love to travel/backpack in my life at one point. just experiencing the local community and just taking in the environment :) taking vacations with family is nice but I wanna just relax and just roam safely by myself. sorry I have no suggestions but we're excited to hear of your adventures (i will live vicariously through you)

Have you been to Krakow, Crunchy? I could probably recommend some vegan places there 😆 Recently I've been thinking that Ljubljana may be an interesting travel destination, I think it may fly under the radar a bit 🙂 but I was thinking more of a 2-3 day trip, not two weeks 🙂

As an Austrian I‘d recommend Vienna if you want to see bigger cities 😆 However, if you’d like to check out smaller and cozier places you should visit the state of Vorarlberg in the west of Austria - specifically the city Bregenz. It‘s best known for the beautiful Lake of Constance and an actual stage on the lake where famous opera’s are performed all summer long 😄 It‘s also really easy to drive up to Germany or Switzerland from here for like a day trip since the lake is bordering all three countries! Vorarlberg is the perfect place for people that like hiking with all the mountains we are surrounded by 😂 And last but not least, we have amazing traditional food 😌

I don't know much about Europe but I'm excited to see where you travel to and to read everyone's recommendations!! travelling and backpacking is something I'd like to do in my life at some point :) I think travelling and getting to see the world would be so nice! have lots of fun and stay safe during your travels 😚✈️

As an American, I do not understand the concept of a hostel like at all. So it's like a cheap 1-2 star motel with less privacy? That's a nightmare lol. But I'm sure it's actually much nicer than what the American equivalent would be. Still, it sounds like a neat adventure. Have fun, be safe 💙

If I had the opportunity, I'd visit Amsterdam. It looks beautiful in pictures. And I would definitely go to the Van Gogh Museum. It sounds like you have a very exciting summer planned!

I recommend Budapest, it's pretty cheap and a lot of beautiful views with the Danube and great architecture. They also have some yummy vegan restaurants 😁.

Seville is my favourite city in Spain, but I guess since you have family in Spain it'd be a different experience compared to a complete tourist like me. The only other places I'd suggest are ones I want to visit myself - Vienna (full disclosure, because The Sound of Music is one of my favourite musicals), Rome and Florence (for the history), Bologna (for the food!), and anywhere in Croatia (for the national parks and scenery). Safe travels sir, virtual kisses for you too ❤️

I really enjoyed Girona, Spain the most! There was a GOT episode filmed there as well. Lots of lovely little shops and churros, which you dip in hot chocolate. The doors are all unique and beautiful.
