It's a Christmas miracle! Our December bonus show is here, AND actually in time for at least some of you to hear it before Santa's arrival! Yes!

We've got a great one for ya this month. We happened upon a copy of the back-to-back broadcasts of A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Garfield Christmas, as they aired on CBS in December of 1992, with commercials and all!

In this episode, we'll talk a little bit about both specials, but we're mainly here to gush about four of the awesome TV commercials that aired during them, which starred everyone from Ronald McDonald to the 7UP Cool Spots.

There's also a special surprise taste test buried in there somewhere!

We've also uploaded the four commercials discussed on this episode to YouTube, if you wanna actually see 'em.

Enjoy! We hope this jumbo-sized bonus spices up your holiday week, and gives you something to listen to while you wrap last-minute gifts. Thanks for your tremendous support here on Patreon all through 2025! We look forward to spending 2026 assaulting your ears with our continued nonsense. Happy whatever-you-celebrate, everyone!

Listening to that Mcdonaldland commercial hit me like a truck. Had my bawling like Clark watching home movies.

99% sure Jay brought up the runaway kid McDonalds ad way back.

Seemed like a tough year to get into the holiday spirit but you boys really do a great job capturing it. Was just talking to my wife about how lucky we were to be kids in the Sears catalog era. These commercials are just another reminder of how good we had it.

Completely non-Italian here, and out Christmas dinner is not too far off what the Arbuckles serve. Ham instead of turkey, but lots of potatoes and rolls. Fried potatoes, potato casserole, etc. And the nearest seafood is a can of tuna in the kitchen cupboard. But seriously I wouldn't mind doing the eggplant and tomato sauce thing once in a while.

Finally, i can relisten to this podcast without anybody buggin me at home, lol.
