If you missed it earlier, our first big show for 2022 has dropped! Join us for an hourlong celebration of all things BURGER KING! We're talking about some of the chain's best promo toys, our favorite discontinued menu items, and even that rascally Duke of Doubt. It's a good one!

That episode should be on your normal feeds now, but if ya need it, here's the episode on Apple or Spotify. (If you'd prefer a direct link to the MP3, here you go.)

And -- spoiler alert -- here's a list of supplemental links where you can learn more about all of the nonsense we discussed:

1) BK’s Ninja Turtles promotion from 1990!2) The wild characters of The Burger Kingdom!3) Burger Bundles, and other lost foodstuffs!4) BK’s famous Star Wars glasses!5) BK’s Simpsons dolls promotion from 1990!6) BK’s Tricky Treaters figures from 1989!7) The insane “Choose the Ooze” campaign from 2001!8) Knickerbocker’s Magical Burger King Doll!

We plan to do more chain-specific shows in the future, so if you dug this one, stay tuned!

For those of you on our $6+ tier, the January bonus show will drop this weekend! (Hint: If you liked this Burger King episode, you should like that one, too!)

Just finished listening. This was an instant classic and I can't wait for you to cover the next chain!

Great listen can’t wait for more in this series! I’m just glad that Dan Cortese and those cringe BK TV commercials didn’t come up 😒

Loved this! Yes, please keep the chains going! I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite sub series.

One thing I always remember from BK, probably not really appropriate for the show, were the little ashtrays when smoking was allowed indoors in NY. I didn't smoke, especially considering how young I was when they were a thing, but I used to take unused ones to put little things, change, etc in. My friends dad, who managed a local BK and was a heavy smoker, bought an entire case of them. It was a ridiculous amount of them, 1000 at minimum, and he still has some left to this day.

I think about Burger Buddies all the time.

Another banger. Speaking of bangers, I ate a $0.99 Whopper every day in high school, when I could only get a dollar for lunch every day from my mom. If I could find a quarter in the couch cushions that week, I could get cheese on it for one of those days. I ate it alone in the school parking lot, listening to the oldies radio station; my own version of American Grafitti.
