2021 Flashbacks! (Patreon)

Hey guys! We just wanted to let you know that both our regular AND bonus shows are coming soon… which should be obvious, given that there ain’t a whole lot left to January! (We both had intense schedules this month, but we finally found spots where we could link up. Don’t worry, you’ll be getting your monthly double-dose of Purple Stuff soon enough!)

It’ll be our first show of 2022, which is important, because we feel that many of our strongest-ever shows happened in 2021. In fact, we both picked some of our favorites from last year, if only to motivate ourselves to top ‘em in 2022…

Jay’s Picks:

Mall Memories: Our trip to a magical shopping mall that lets us visit any store from any point in time. The mall nostalgia is thick and heavy, and there’s no way you’re not gonna hear things that push your best buttons. Remember to grab an Orange Julius on the way out.

The Blue Show: Simple as the concept is, our “color” shows usually end up being some of our favorites. This was probably the best one so far, covering everything from Heinz EZ Squirt Ketchup to those old Army Ants figures.

Matt’s Picks:

Unsolved Mysteries: Our giant tribute to the classic TV series, where we zero in on several segments that made lifelong impressions. We genuinely feel that this is as good as an Unsolved Mysteries podcast could be!

1989 Macy’s Parade: From ALF to the Joker, we celebrate the highlights of the 1989 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! This was one of the all-time best Macy’s Parades, and we hope we did it justice!

What will we come up with for 2022? You’ll have to wait and see, but we’ve already locked the topic for this month’s show, and we’re very confident that you’ll be into it. Look for it soon, and for those of you on our $6+ tier, the bonus show will be right behind. Talk to you soon – we hope y’all are well!
