We're back with our bonus show for April, and yay, it's time for another eBay dive! Join us as we pluck out six of the best and weirdest Star Wars: Episode I items currently (or recently) on eBay!

The Phantom Menace delivered a merchandise blitz like no other movie. For a while there, you couldn't look in any direction with seeing Darth Maul's face on something. No matter what you thought of the film, it was a glorious time to be a fan... even if a lot of the merchandise and promo items were pretty weird!

Follow the links below to check out the eBay auctions, for however long they remain up!

1) Star Wars Koosh Balls!2) Smokey Red BBQ Doritos Bag!3) The Opee Sea Killer Figure!4) The Jabba Glob!5) Darth Maul Inflatable Chair!6) Boss Nass Pepsi Can!

We had a lot of fun with this one! Thanks for listening, and for supporting us here on Patreon! We've yet to deliver April's regular BIG show, but don't worry, it's been recorded, and it's very solid. We laughed a lot, lawl. We're putting the finishing touches on it, and it'll be up in a couple of days. Of course, we'll be hitting you up with Purple Stuff action a few more times in May, between the main feed and our bonus feed! Stay tuned!

Probably the most disturbing thing I remember from Phantom Menace merch was the Jar Jar Binks lollipop. The candy was...his tongue. So you literally had to make out with Jar Jar Binks.

Wow, I was 9 when Phantom Menace came out, so this was the biggest movie ever made to me at the time. I went to every gas station I could reasonably ride my bike to and got every can that summer. Imagine the clerks’ faces when I would inquire about “Nute Gunray Pepsi One.”

That Jabba was amazing! My mom always made me play with it over a paper plate so I wouldn’t make a big green mess wherever I was.

David Gregory

Wasn't a big fan of that movie, but it was cool to hear you all talk about the ephemera. And you're right, the movies can suck balls but it's cool to be part of the excitement that surrounds it. Nice one!

I know about the koosh balls getting sticky. Anything that was on the floor, was on that koosh ball immediately. I've only seen this movie once, on Summer vacation in Anchorage. I didn't know what 'da hell was going on. I only went to get out of going to yard sales with my mom and her sisters. Now 20 years later, i've seen the original trilogy so maybe I could understand what was going on if I wanted to revisit it.

hey Intex is still around! they make pool stuff! my family has a flamingo that my dog sees as her bitter rival(she loves to bark at it). but yeah, that chair COULD probably float no problem.

Is it just me or is this movie starting to acquire cult status because of it's "so bad it's good"

Electrolux

Boss Nass can still available. Breathe easy. Returns accepted.

Electrolux

I mean, it wasn't that bad but a lot of people hated it at the time.

I had that Opee fish toy for years! I think I just got rid of it last year. I also loved the slime spewing Jabba. Episode 1 brings back such good memories for sure!
