If you didn't catch it on our main feed yesterday, the latest full-length episode of the Purple Stuff Podcast has dropped! (Yes, a bit late, so we're still counting this as April's show, and we're aiming to two biggies in a month to catch up!)

We think it was worth the wait, though. Hit the lights and join us as we pay tribute to eight great things that GLOW IN THE DARK! From Ecto Glow Ghostbusters to Superman's Kryptonite Rocks, this episode is practically radioactive.

If you haven't seen it on your feed yet, here it is on Apple and Spotify, or if you prefer, here's a direct link to the MP3. We've been told that the episode hasn't hit Google Podcasts yet, so we're gonna figure that out today, if it doesn't self-correct.

If you wanna learn more about the stuff we discuss on THE GLOW SHOW, follow the links below. If you’d rather not be spoiled, stop reading now!

God, Amazing Elastic Plastic. I can SMELL that commercial. Also, I was a card-carrying member of the Burger King Kids Club 😀

Derek McKnight

Tyco glow cars and the Barbie glow dress was big nostalgia

Tasita Ebacher

Finally I had something you featured! Dream Glow Barbie was so great!

Marc Campanelli

Grew up in NYC and was a card carrying member of the BK Kids Club!

Bubble plastic is actually the first thing that came to my mind!! Growing up in Ireland it had occasional waves of popularity when it was sold at school fairs or pop up stands in supermarkets. It was eventually banned because the old formula got you high like aeroplane modelling glue. The new stuff doesn't have that... Nostalgic smell. But it did ruin your carpets just as well if not better than modern day slime.

I am a huge fan of glow in the dark stuff and one time I got kicked out of an art exhibit because of it. In pittsburgh an artist had set up a piece that you had to walk up a pitch black ramp and let your eyes adjust for 10 min to see the piece. I walked up not realizing I had on a glow in the dark slimer shirtand my vest had a bunch of glo pins on it, I immediately ruined everyones night vision and got yelled at. Whoops!

I'm here for the mention of the northeastern pharmacy family guy joke.

Christiana Theobald Brunstetter

Hate to break your heart but the Burger King kids club was 100% in the northeast. My husband and I are native east PA folk and we were members. I still have my membership card😂

Great show! I was a Glow in the Dark fanatic as a kid. Who am I kidding, I still am. I'm the adult that still buys Glow in the Dark t-shirts and Funko pops. As a kid, I remember begging my mom to buy whichever cereal had the Glow in the Dark toy in the box, or spending my Skee-ball tickets on the Glow in the Dark prizes.

ChipChop

"You broke the rule!"

Kurt Carty

They finally did it! Edible glow in the dark Sour Patch Kids! I’d post a pic, but I don’t see the option.
