Hi again! We figured out the problem with the audio and it's fixed! Sorry about that!

Hello! This month has been bonkers. I can honestly say that I never thought that I'd post a video where I'm wearing dirty clothes and holding a baby, but needs must and if I don't lower my standards around here, it wouldn't get done at all.

My daughter Meg had surgery and she and her family have been living here, and six warm bodies in our tiny home has been intense. We've given our usual bedroom to Meg and Alex and Abigail, and Joe's sleeping in a tiny twin in one guest room, and Elliot and I are in another twin. This is as great as it sounds, but the good news is that Meg is healing nicely and knitting up a storm.

Enjoy the video, and if you've got questions, whack them in the comments.

Steph

PS, the sweater I'm wearing is Acorn Trail, knit in Harrisville Highland.

Hello Steph and fellow knitters-- I have questions about the no-rinse products (e.g., Soak, Eucalan). I like the idea of them because I'm never sure I've rinsed something well enough, but are they really effective? And really no rinse? Also,

(Part 2, posted before I was finished, Sigh.) Also are some no rinse products better for certain yarns than others? I think I've heard that Eucalan has some lanolin that might not be suitable for some yarns? (I live in the Southern US so knit at times with silk, linen and/or cotton blends). Thanks so much for your help! Always glad to learn something new from you.

I've used Soak for years on all types of fiber and love it. By the grey-ness of the water after sitting for a bit I have to think it works :-)
