Hello from the Pacific Northwest, where I'm wrapping up a Strung Along Retreat.  I'm sitting in my office (that's a very specific table in the restaurant) and tomorrow morning I'll start the long trip home, but first I have a video that I just finished so here it is. It feels a little funny to be posting pictures of me at home when I'm away, but at least I'm wearing the same sweater, so there's that.

When I finished this sweater I noticed I'd made a little mistake in the ribbing, just gotten a little off the rhythm of the thing - so here's how I went back and fixed it with just a little disruption. Enjoy the little Abigail cameo at the end.

That baby sweater looks familiar. Is it the “Fir-something” pattern? I was considering making that for my first grandbaby who’s now almost 10 months old. Do you find the fabric stretches as they grow? That would mean sizing only has to be approximate, which would be nice.

"Laddering up it much easier in knit than in purl" - a thing I've cursed at so many times, and now I feel like a dope for not realizing that I could just turn the work over! :D Ah well, going forward to do better.
