Well hello Poppets, and sorry for the delay. While there's been no trouble for me,  there's been a bit of a bottleneck getting videos done on Joe's end - his parents have been moving and he's a good guy who's been the man on the ground for that, and I'm sure we all want him to take care of them first. Still, I'm SO GLAD that this one is done.  There's a few more backed up on his desk that should come your way quickly now.

In this episode we talk a bit about picking up stitches when you're doing sleeves on a top down sweater. It's what was on my needles and it occurred to me as I was knitting it that it might be helpful. I love picking up stitches, and little tricks like this are why.

The sweater I'm wearing in this video is Nuuk, with weaving inspired by the Whidbey Sweater, and the yarn is Diamond Laine Elmer Tweed in Thermal. I love this sweater and I've barely taken it off, as a matter of fact I cast on another one almost straight away, and that one's finished too, though I'm contemplating what embellishment it might get.  I found a skein of yarn that would be good for the weaving, and then started to form a sort of embroidery plan.

It's all up in the air, but I've left the sweater out so that I can look it over at regular intervals and think about it.

See you soon, the next video is hot behind this one...

Fab tips thank you. I’m making a Love Note sweater so great timing to try them out. Hope the 5K went well!

Beautiful! Can’t wait to try this on my next sweater. I use my little scale all the time, less stress about having enough yarn.
