I agree she’s gotta lay down with the singing because in her early music, she wasn’t doing all this singing … and if was it was just here and there … The David Guetta song with Davido I expected that to be singing because I know that David Guetta in past interviews has talked about how he loves when Nicki sings and that he prefers to have her to sing on records he produces versus rapping … yeah whatever … This PF2 deluxe the hiatus better have more rapping … LESS SINGING more RAPPING … 😂 … and it’s really no shade but girl every song so far is saturated with the singing and I’m a barb but not a crazy one …

Nicki is dropping the deluxe for pf2 next month & a new album 2025 and she’s been dropping scrapped songs ,we literally haven’t heard one new Nicki verse this year. I feel like she’s trying to get all the scrapped songs out there & then come back on the new album with all new material , ESPECIALLY if Cardi drops before Nicki next year .. I love Nicki but these songs aint it. I don't mind her singing cuz some of her songs that she sings in are good like Save Me, Right Thru Me, Last Time I Saw You etc. But these songs fell flat I'm disappointed. If It's Okay is the worst song imo. Remember me had the potential to be a great song, Nicki started off good with the bars but then as the song went on nah. I wanted to like Turn yo cap back but no I don't like the chorus either. Plus swae lee vocals in the background I wish it was up front. Arctic tundra is the best song out of the four but at the same time it's lackluster to me, it's not horrible though it's kinda growing on me. I like it but I don't like it lmao I guess I gotta give it time. But the bar he said "Feel like I'm gonna die" is disturbing I ain't feeling that, but at least this song is better than AGATS2.

personally, i like these songs (with my favs being artic tundra and if it's okay), but i get what you're saying, she's singing way too much. i hope this isnt the official new direction she's gonna take and maybe it's just the "sonic aesthetic" she's using for the pf2 era, which is almost over.. i like her singing, i like when she gets in that pop bag, but i wanna hear her rap and really remind us that she's a lyrical genius when it comes to rap.

was listening to some other songs on the pinkprint just to compare the difference in her voice (there isnt much)—BUT in "I Lied" she does the whiny voice in such a good way for me, the autotune was at 0% she served bars and the beat was very full/complete. like it gave what it was supposed and didnt sound unfinished

It's so funny listening to this after she went nuclear on Armon. I hope he double downs on her now lmaooo. Cole gets away with it because it's more contained to smaller part and usually kept to hooks. Not to mention he doesn't use autotune heavy and he stays in his range. It's like nicki refuses to get lessons, stay in her range and stop using the autotune. Even on Coles track Fever, which has to be his most singing heavy track( definitely channeled his drake on it) does just enough to get the point across without it being overbearing and still catchy.

I’m super late to this but Nicki seems lost and creatively bankrupt as an artist. Which might be understandable for an artist that’s been in the game as long as her, but if that’s the case stop pump out music so frequently. Quality over quantity (and rapping over singing my god)
