Yeaa, Dee you got a point... I never have a problem with intro's in music. But he OD'ed it on this album... Jeessuuusssssss🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 For example: on Cowboy Carter, not a rap album, Bey had a few but they were tied in with the story, had substance and a message. On Doechii's ABNH there were a few intro's too but they fit with what she was trying to say. This man really aint saying ISH, while he wants to sound very deep and philosophical at the same time. How that work🤣🤣🤣🤣 The beats are definitely the highlight of this album tho!

His rapping to these beats just feels like the original beat got copyrighted so they used the other beat like it was some mashup. I did keep 3 songs. I had to move around a lot because sitting down listening to music is just boring for me. I can watch someone else sit and listen to new music, but I can’t do it physically. Can I also say? When are rappers gunna stop with the samples of random singers singing while they’re rapping. I feel like that such an outdated thing for producers to do. Idk we heard it too many times like that it feels like it hasn’t improved, but maybe that’s just me. And I will say some rappers just don’t fit with sad beats (I wouldn’t say sad) but motivational beats, because it’s make their terrible verses have more of a spotlight. I’m like “baby… we have a beat for a reason.” & also I don’t like when he raps, so I agree if he just sped up the songs it’ll be a lil distracting to how he raps.

Agreed, he does not do well on super slow beats at all! I also usually love samples with random singers in the back lol and they typically work really well for 21, like "running" for example. But this one on this album feels like it was just thrown together with very little effort

I was so disappointed in this project. It just sounded like a whole bunch of throw aways. 21 is nowhere one of the best rappers but he is one of my favorites and I love all of his projects except this one. The beats and production were really weak and I didn’t think it was possible but his lyrics got even worse. Latto is the female version of him imo. And I feel like Metro was missing his magic touch here. 0/10 for me. Just uninspired.
