Saudi arabia has other issues like human rights abuses, women rights issues (better than how it was before but its a slow process), zero freedom of speech (political prisoners and journalists being assassinated), homosexuality is punished by death/prison, saudi arabia’s controversial foreign policy like in the war in yemen and its financial support for terrorist groups for decades is also one of the reasons it leaves a bad taste on many people’s mouths. Also saudi arabia has been involved in sportswashing and a lot of what their government is doing is to clean the country’s image with their money and market it as a westernized open minded country when in reality they’re barely progressing in human rights so its all a facade

What people are calling “slave” is that some Saudi’s have personal driver and housekeeper that get paid every month.They’re not slaves. Yes dee period this is why i watch you! You always try to see the other side and be unbiased. And you're right people act so morally superior (especially online) when they don't know anything about said country (never even lived there) and when their own country has plenty of fucked-up issues too & honestly, sometimes even worse. That's bc Cardi isn't as global as Nicki. And this isn't a diss. Nicki's pop era really made her more accessible to a lot of people worldwide who aren't necessarily hip-hop fans, in my opinion. Pop music travels more than straight hip hop or "ghetto music" (smh) as in what a Cardi song might be seen as to foreigners.

You can dance without being provocative, her dancers are doing so right behind her. But not even just dancing, she just looks like she’s not psychically capable of being more mobile. Which makes sense, it takes women around 6-8 weeks to be able to engage in strenuous activity, it’s only been like a month for her

there is modern slavery in nearly every country in the world. turkey has twice the amount of offenses than saudi but no one talks about that. arranged marriages are technically labeled as modern slavery; it's referred to as servile and "forced" marriages, according to the global slavery index, but the citizens don't see it that way. it's apart of their religion and most are fine with it. no one is saying saudi is perfect but there is indeed a lot of misinformation spread about their country, among other countries
