We're back for 2026! Lucy, Theo, Andrew, and Ben bring you half of the emotions you'll be experiencing in 2027, the spirit of optimism coming face-to-face with the spirit of American cruelty, and an accessory to a crime that was never committed.

oh boy I've intentionally avoided news about whether the Netherlands have been turned into a big crater for a whole week!

As I am listening to this episode in my jammies that have been infused with CBD, I obviously love the year end trends list. That and the new years Dutch report have been on my mind since the last episode of 2025. Thanks for last year love you guys and the show. Looking forward to more hilarious stuff.

Was just getting back into True Widow yesterday. They’re working on a new album right now!

Thank god for the return of Dump It, I’ve had the song stuck in my head for a month. On this trajectory you’re going to have a segment theme that hits the Top 40 chart by 2030

Finally some positive media representation for Craigs

i took a Greyhound from dallas to houston a few years ago and it was lovely, very relaxing. the only downside was that the bus didn’t stop at either Buc-ee’s location on the route (Ennis or Madisonville) so i wasn’t able to get my usual barbecue sandwich of middling quality and bag of Beaver Nuggets

Simon Anlezark

In the 2006 Australian Macbeth “burning wood coming to Dunsinane” is represented by a logging truck.

Poeni

I knew school aged Mick Malloy, I reckon he would be a guest if you asked.

Tyler Jacobs

this was the perfect episode to listen to while moving appliances i’ll never be able to afford around a warehouse on a rainy day. thank you for the righteous anger.

I am obsessed with the trend stuff. Makes work feel downright sensible by comparison.

Matt Watterson

‘Equilibrium’ is another movie from the early 2000s that had a lot of Matrix DNA in it look-wise. I think it’s really underappreciated. And it has Christian Bale and Sean Bean in it! And creepy fascistic kids!

Joseph Oswald

The trend stuff is genuinely some of your best work. I love that shit

Also, do you have a link to the WGSN article? A work buddy and I like to read things like this to each other while pretending to do our jobs.

Neural Damage

getting powerful ZOMBO COM vibes from Ben's intro

Sorry to be a bother but could we get a few more clean takes of Theo saying "you can't come" (39:32) preferably as individual FLAC files cheers x

Dartwave

I liked trend watch!
