I knew a guy who used to work for mars dog food (a huge part of the Mars business btw) and dog food in Australia is supposed to be edible by humans and dog food taster is an actual job. Also I’ve know people who ate dog food when broke but argued cat food is always a safer bet

Here in beautiful Milwaukee, there is an overwhelming wet dog smell that occasionally envelopes different neighborhoods (mine included). I recently discovered that it's from a factory right next to Lake Michigan that processes human waste into fertilizer!
