It's impossible to list all the visual design elements, tropes and world building that Blade Runner had on popular culture upon its initial release in 1982. Despite bombing in a most spectacular fashion Ridley Scott managed to literally redefined the future of sci-fi despite the atrocious Harrison Ford/Rick Deckard's voice over. Here we look at the definitive version from 2007 that restores original scenes, removes others including said voice over and changes the ending in a manner that completely alters the meaning of the entire film. Thanks for listening to our Caravan Of Garbage review and be sure to return next week for the follow up! It's not Blader Runner 2049.

I never watched the bad version of this and I still think it's a bad movie. There's a couple good bits, sure, but it's overall just a mess.

dunno, I think that the voice over makes the movie more like the novella. IMO it was written with dialogue that I remember being like the orson wells rosebud movie, like 50s gangster dialogue ("yeah...see? yeah....see?") the voice over sort of reminds me of that, and since the movie doesn't follow the book so well, the (brilliant) screen writers pulling out the best ideas, I think that it works...... I expect for the next what are we reading what are we gonna read , you include DADoES ..... and not the cartoon version, Mr flag-pole-defeated-James!

yes there is n word, in the voice over deckard describes M Emmet Walsh as the kind of cop who used to call black men the n word (cause M Emmet calls replicants skin jobs).
