HEY LIL MONKIES!

:) I made a vid diving into the production of the August demo, 'over and out'! AS PER USUAL it's super long so not for everyone.. but if you do have time to grab a cuppa and watch it, I hope you enjoy!

Before I owned any software like this I found the idea of recording music really abstract and hard to imagine, so I loved watching vids like this on Youtube just to match something visual with what I was hearing! It had me hooked, so hopefully this will be cool in some way!

hope you're so well. love you to bits

this was the coolest!!!! i love stuff like this. and i would definitely love a video on your favourite plugins that you've found over the years, that'd be awesome. as far as recording this goes, i would say that when you're editing the audio/the video you should be able to adjust your levels/panning, cos yeah the music was so loud it sounded like it was clipping through your mic, and your voice couldn't keep up, and they were both panned really far to the left, so i ended up adjusting it on my end so watching the video wasn't so uncomfortable aha. loved the topic though, videos like this are my favourite thing

Sweet beans, thanks man! Yeah I knew it would sound pants but routing the audio straight from logic to the screen capture software proved oddly difficult! Will crack it for next time & will def hop on that plugins vid 🙂❤️

That's a great insight into the way you have been working :) It's so cool to see the "mechanics" of that song! Best wishes and a good start to the week! :)

This was fun to watch!! I am trying to produce some music and am having trouble making it not sound like a total hack job... watching your vids like this are quite inspiring. I will keep trying/ making it work

Love these vids! Also did not know you could label tracks different colors so THANK YOU SO MUCH. Makes things a lot easier and prettier.

Awesome! Loved this sooo much! I hope you make more videos like this one. I really would like a video of the creative process of a song or a raw video of you recording it.
