just a hey from me. how's everyone doing this week? ☺️

I've had a sweet time.. I had my first photoshoot in FOREVER and the photographer was so sweet, made me feel so comfortable in my own skin & was so cool with me not GLAMMING UP like other photographers have made me do.. (so not me, lol). HOORAH!

I finished writing your feb demo, put a lil planning into a music vid (omg) & wrote 2 songs with friends for their projects! I also confirmed a mixer for my single! yes.. it's happening. looking like a late march release but as soon as we nail down a date, you guys will be the first to know :) it's crazy to think about putting music out after all this time! IT MAKES MY HEAD SPIN WITH HAPPY FEELS.

Today has been crazy. I went to look at cars as a casual observer and drove home in a shiny new car! (After doing a lot of preresearch, don't worry) It's one I hope to keep for 10+ years so pretty excited!!

It's great that they let you be however you want to be! :) I'm so excited for the next demo and of course the single! 😍 I'm good so far.. living the life to it's fullest.. Hey! woo woo, just booked a trip to Yosemite in CA (like an hour ago) with a friend for May after school lets out (and maybeeee finding time to drive down to LA for the first time while I'm over there! but i'm more of a hippie so most likely i'll stick to the quiet national parks of beautifulness) so stoked about that. Other than that working and schooling and teaching and living and stufffff. Going out to a concert tomorrow after work. Seeing 'Lights' at the Theater of the Living Arts ... dunno who they are but should be fun! Glad the photographer was good with/for you! SO EXCITED FOR THE RELEASES! The acoustic version is tiding me over till the full release. Hope you're well!

oh, what a week!! not the best one ever, but I still had fun though. both my car and bike broke, my bank card failed and I got a huge headache. on the upside, I had a camera crew over from a popular scientific TV programme in the Netherlands, so this was fun!! Two weeks until I go to Vienna to visit Ulli. can't wait!! 😍 In the meantime the #fatreons are keeping me busy as well 😎 super stoked to hear the new single and see the pics, video and a tourla!

Ah that sounds so exciting! Def with you on beautiful national parks vs. smelly LA! 😛 ooh yeah I think Lights is one girl if I remember correctly, she'll have a band with her but it's her project if you get me. Aw wow, hope work isn't too all-consuming, I have so much respect for you for working so hard at so many different things! And YAY to that. Heck it's gonna be such a relief to just get it all out there, no excuses x

Wait... MaRcH?! Boy am I so excited for that now!!! My week has been pretty productive. Was working with someone and got my EP songs finished and mastered.. now I am just waiting to save the money and make a music video before the big release. (I am so excited omg) and also got to spend lots of time with my puppy which was GREAT. 😁

I'm an amateur photographer ... I take a lot of photos. Portraits, people photoshoots I have not done a lot, except candid. I like catching what I like in a person's face, especially... which unless the person is comfortable in their own skin is much easier to do when they don't know their photo is being taken. One of the things I like doing best, especially with women, is to show them how good they look when they're not being self-conscious about it, so just stop already :-) I'd like to be able to do what your photographer did... and it's a real art, I think, to get someone to relax and just be themselves while they not only KNOW you're taking their picture, but that's the whole reason we're doing this. It's hard. Especially when you're on the receiving end of the camera. So a good photographer will make it as easy as possible. I want to get there. I guess you have to quickly learn to convey trustworthiness and empathy. I'll go meditate on that for a while rather than bore you further with my musings :-) Still struggling with my album that I want to get out this year, finding time to work on it. I've got about ... I'd say 5 songs to re-do. This is just a "so I can say I did it" project more than anything else. But I did recently finish my newest original and I gotta say I'm kinda happy with it. I've gotten a lot better than I was when I covered a couple of your songs a few years ago. Which is to say you can probably now listen to me without cringing, at least. Here it is if you're interested at all ... amateur fan... guess I'm a fan-man, not a fan-boy. Fan grandpa? Ok, right, get on with it.
