secret demo club IRL :o (Patreon)

lads, huge love to anyone in / around Dublin & London who came to my headline shows last week.

I debuted my brand new live setup (new band, whole show re-programmed, new parts, new songs, me on in-ears for the first time!) & whilst it was a definite baptism of fire for me & there were a couple inevitable slip ups I absolutely loved these shows. I loved how intimate they were, sweaty rooms rammed full of the people who cared most. :) for those who live far away / couldn’t get tickets.. there will be more shows of course! Planning some soon. ☺️

I wanna give a HUGE shoutout to all you patreon folk who came to Dublin.. for those who don’t know none of the people in the picture above live in Dublin.. and yet everyone flew from all over the world (John literally came from the US! others from all over Europe..). They knew each other from the secret demo club & went on to book an air bnb together & spend the weekend together. the day after the gig we met up in a park in the city & ate snacks, passed the guitar around. after a few really self-indulgent days it was so nice to hear songs from everyone else.

I just wanna say THANK YOU and big love to all who made such an effort to come together, not just for your sake but mine! It meant the world and I feel like the luckiest ginge. Hearing you all sing by the lyrics of unreleased songs.. I mean, that’s what it’s all about. Seriously. Awesome. Let’s organise more of these meet ups in the future !
