This winter I've learnt to knot and to do watercolor. Watercolor is one of my favourite discover, this is so cool and relaxing to play with colours and water ! Tell us what you choose :)

taking a walk to the store but deciding to take the aweful inconvenient walk plus an extra mile just to force myself to walk and think.....why the fuxk am i doing this stupid shit.... and then reward myself with the said 40 cents worth of candy i went to get and a pom pom blunt for 55 and hey. a dollar trip to take a 20 min walk when the srore is really only four houses down. not to shabby when you need something new to complain about. "todays thoughts on why i suck for doing this"

I watch people (a lot) and imagine what their life is like... Does it qualify as a hobby?! Probably not... I draw and take pictures, but I work in architecture so it's not really a "hobby" (it always feels a bit like part of my job...). I'm also learning a language (but I live abroad, so it's not a hobby.. again ._.") I like painting game figures too! They are small so you have to focus a lot on them and that takes my mind off other things. Once, I used to go to a friend's place and print with an old typography press. We'd make some subject up and print small books. It was one of the best things I could do to lift the pressure.

You should try meditation for walking :) It helps me figuring out why I suck without dragging me down at the same time

I play tablesoccer a lot, it's a rather young and very social sport, but there are many tournaments in Germany and also a very friendly community worldwide. Next to that i play "Go", which is one of the oldest board games known to humankind (way older and more complex than chess for example, but at least for me also way more fun to play and aesthetically pleasing). Of course it requires some thought and learning, but every game tells a rather fascinating story, so for me it's worth the effort. It was also in the media recently, since a breakthrough in AI research finally enabled the computer to beat the top human players :-) I also learn a couple of foreign languages on Duolingo as a hobby, but that's not very social working with an app on your phone, so maybe this just like music doesn't really count i guess :-) Oh, and sometimes we do have some fun among good friends doing Yoga sessions in the park or also Tai Chi which i learned from my mother.
