Hi Orla, and thanx for this, my first secret demo. Love it! But then I seem to be loving so much of your stuff. I've been devouring you voraciously over the last few days on YouTube, having eventually put 2 and 2 together that the helpful, friendly and, yes, quite lovely red-headed girl that we met following dodie's show at Camp Bestival was the very same as appeared in the angel band on God Is A Woman (dang that's good!) and then the Crazy Human Psycho Crush. My favourites of yours that I've discovered so far are Roots, Human, Overthinking and (of course) I Go Crazy (sooo catchy!), plus your covers of Everywhere and Skinny Love, and the collab with Rusty Clanton. I'm 65 ("Not your average dodie fan" you said!) but still get excited when I discover a great new talent, especially one from outside the mainstream, and right now you definitely have my attention, and I'm very happy to add my small contribution to your "tips jar". I could go on but you've got better things to do than read my ramblings, but can I just ask you, though, two things: first, any progress on the album that you have mentioned? (You have plenty enough great songs, and a definite pre-sale here!) And second, is there any chance dodie would let you sing one of your songs on the forthcoming tour? We (my daughter and I) have tickets for the Roundhouse gig (bet I'm the oldest one there again!) and it would be wonderful if you could do I Go Crazy with the band! Pass this on: "Plz dodie, let Orla sing one! Love ya!" That, or even better, you could be the support act???????? Anyway, best wishes for now, and sláinte!

I’ve been in Iceland now for 2 months as an au pair and my biggest goal was to get my kids to like my music and maybe even request one song.. yesterday it happened! And guess which song... THIS ONE! It is child approved. Officially child approved.
