hello secret demo club gang. it's that time of the month! (not that time).

so here's another one that was born from my idea-a-day-in-the-month-of-may project... there's piano. it's a sad one. 


this will be one of the ones I release properly at some point.. this piano & vocal take will stay the same, I just want to bring in some atmospheric elements and more vocals in parts, but for the most part I want to keep it super bare! I'll be noodling with it on tour (bringing my mobile recording setup!) so I can't wait to finish it off. :) as always would love to hear your thoughts

Not sure if I'm completely correct with the chords, but when you get to the end bridge part and the bass drum comes in (damn it sounds good) why not go to an Fmajor instead of Dminor on your 3rd chord at some point ? Could make it sound like a bit of a liberation of tension or summin like that, just a thought! Otherwise yes definitely release the song this could be a big one

I listened to this demo while sitting in my school library. There are big windows in there and I had an overview of the entire schoolyard. While listening, I saw my ex best friend down there whom I lost to my mental health problems hug my other old friends. I felt like I was in a movie and it huuuuuuurts dude :( in sort of a good way tho. I love the song <3

I really loved this <3 my random ideas cos I thought I may as well: I'm always a sucker for a cello in voice/piano heartfelt songs so that. Also maybe having a bit at the end that's just voice with no backing? That could be cool. Loved it though and looking forward to hearing more!!!
