summary:

- eek election. sending so much love to all of my US patrons

- thanks for the amazing feedback on your october demo 'bloodline'

- would love to hear your take on a name for my album in a comment below or direct Patreon msg if you'd prefer!

I know u haven't heard all of the music yet but are lots of album tracks that you have heard in demo form (pretending, Madison, more like you, bloodline, left behind). the main themes that weave throughout the album are identity, growing up.. growing into & accepting the person you were meant to be. there are songs on there about my friends, my family; the people that have shaped me.. and although there are sombre & intimate musical moments I would say this won't be an album full of sadgirl ballads - the overall energy/tone of the album is quite upbeat & positive in many places, gritty and angsty in others.

anyway - would love to hear your thoughts. I'm totally open minded and hey, even if u have one that feels quite random or silly or out there then that idea could turn into another idea that we can workshop together.. you just never know. :) x

Okay I am SO LATE on this (I blame school deadlines and the general anxiety that comes with living in America rn) but what about “Deep Feeler”? Even if that one’s not on the album I think it perfectly encapsulates the raw and pure emotions that seep out of your music, even when the songs are happy and/or energetic. In my experience that’s why your lyrics resonate so much- because you just GET how it feels to be in a certain situation or experience certain feelings and then you have exactly the right words to describe them. If “Deep Feeler” isn’t on the record and you’re planning on releasing it later I think it would be a perfect title. Also it is 3 am as I am typing this and I am very sleep deprived so please forgive me if I’m making no sense. I’m beyond excited for this album & can’t wait to listen to absolutely nothing else when it comes out lol!

Also “Who Are You So Afraid to Be?” Could be REALLY cool for an album about the trials and tribulations of growing into your own skin. Looking at “Pretending”, “More Like You” and “Left Behind” specifically, it seems they all somehow deal with the process learning how to get more in touch with yourself and who you are (which is scary asf especially when you have to confront your fear of ✨abandonment✨ a la Left Behind).
