hey gang. thank you SO much for your wonderful song ideas on yesterday's post. have saved my faves for a rainy day - it's so fulfilling to hear your stories & thoughts, makes me feel so connected to you. here is an audio diary recorded last night on a chilly December walk in which I muse about THE UNCERTAINTY OF LIFE! - it's a little doom & gloom for sure, but such is honesty. love you! x

It's honestly cruel. We began to see "normal" and it was ripped from us. NJ and NY have been PLUNGED into delta and omicron and everyone is sick. I was planning on going to NYC for New Years to see my beloved friends but I don't think that's going to happen. What would really gut me is if spring semester goes online. Right now what gives me the most joy are my biology classes. If that goes away I'll weep. What prevents me from diving headfirst into despair is that, like 2020, I'll find another reason for happiness. There will always be something worth getting up for, even if I don't know what it is yet. Uncertainty is a scary place to reside, but you're not alone in that feeling. I think all of humanity is remembering that familiar terror we felt 2 years ago. I listen to Stop the Ride ALL the time now and it helps so much. It's probably one of my favorite demos of yours :,) thanks as always og

Hi all, just joined here :) Wish I had great words of encouragement for the current travel situation.. All I can say is we're still all in this together. I'm in Australia and was very much hoping to go see my international friends once we open our borders in February (even go to some gigs), but I've no idea if that'll happen or not. What keeps me sane is indulging in my creative output (I love doing colourisations of old black & white material) & keeping up with everyone else's. For instance I've really enjoyed listening through the demos on here today, so thank you for that :)
