behind the demo: demo no.69 'I lied' (Patreon)

SECRET DEMO CLUB ANGELS! how are you doing. how are we feeling on this last day of this mad year?

here's something new: at the end of each month (or beginning of the next) I'm going to record some audio giving background on the monthly demo you've just heard! I'll chat about the whole story; the process, the lyrics, the music, the production - thoughts, feelings, obstacles met along the way. I'm calling the series 'behind the demo' :)

this is an intro to behind the demo - all episodes after this will be available only to the silver & gold tiers. after making the album over these past 2 years (by far my most expensive project to date!) I've really wanted to give back & sweeten the deal for those of you who contribute a little more on here. I always wish I could give everything to everyone - I hope you understand. let me know which aspects of the demos might interest you most to discuss in detail!

as these episodes will be longer than the demos you may prefer to stream them somewhere other than patreon site/app - a reminder that if you use apple podcasts you can attach your RSS feed to the app and all audio I upload on here (demos, audio diaries + behind the demo episodes) will all appear on there for you to listen to at your leisure. alternatively u can stream from the patreon site or app (remember u can save offline) or download the mp3s. if u have any ideas for other places I could host the episodes or make it easier for u to listen I'm all ears.

this track was fun to record & fun to dive in a bit too - thanks again to everyone who gave me ideas for this song. I'm constantly bowled over by how creative and brilliant and willing you are to open up - I loved hearing your ideas, let's definitely do that again.

last bit of SDC housekeeping: for those of you in the gold tier your next live stream & zoom hang will be on MONDAY JAN 3RD, from 7PM GMT. save the time/date and see some of you there !

love you all to bits. :) SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
