When trying the silicone,a little dishwashing on your fingers allows for good finish and doesn,t stick to your fingers.

No,put the silicone around area,then put a small amount of dish washing liquid on your fingers,you then can use the silicone like putty without it sticking to fingers,leaves the job looking good to,i have done this for years after being shown.
