Electrical intercourse indeed! Surely that would require some sort of wired clamping device? Anyway... the tate called and they're completely full of odd art at the moment. My suggestion to you is to do as my father does and purchase a length of soil pipe around 2' long and that seems to keep most of the rain off. Add to that a blob of exterior silicone seal at each end where the cables go in and a quick wrap of extra wide electrical tape in the middle and you're good and waterproof. I've always wondered if self amalgamating tape would do the trick but haven't tried that one.
