I’m still having trouble tuning, the tightness of the strings still feel wobbly and sounds mute. Am I tuning the shamisen wrong?

Hello, when doing the sukui I feel that my bachi gets stuck in the string, especially when the speed is fast or there are consecutive sukuis, any advice on how to avoid this please?

I know about height and distance from neo, but might-you do a brief focus on how material of the koma affect the sound (wood, bamboo, bone etc ?

I always try to press down on the strings using my the tip of my fingernail for a sharp clean sound on all strings. But when I watch shamisen videos it looks like the finger pad and not the nail is being used; especially on strings 1 and 2. Should the fingernail be used on all strings or are there exceptions when the finger pad can be used and not the fingernail?

Is it possible to ask what technique you are using to achieve that triplet feel in your jongara bushi (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcqO0zkyQRo) after the 2:50 section (which is a strike hajiki, sukui in triplets) and you go into the 16 (3rd string) 0 (2nd string) slide to 16, 16 and repeat. Usually that's the basic verions (I hope I've described it in away that makes sense) but in your version it has this staggered triplet feel that I'd love to learn. On a similar note. What is the best way to start learning how to add your own parts? I have the basic version of Tsugaru Aiya Bushi but I have no idea where to even start when it comes to creating my own part. Do I ignore improv for now and focus on building a larger repertoire of pieces to my library and when I have enough techniques and melodies mastered that will get easier to do. Or is it something I should be doing from now as it is its own skill that I should work on to improve?
