Stuart: I don’t remember how I opened the last Asterix episode notes, but I bet it wasn’t with me stating that I didn’t remember how I opened the last Asterix episode notes, so this is a bloody good start, eh? No?

Here we are again. Me—Stuart Gipp—plus the brave Audi Sorlie, John Linneman, and Thomas Nickel, returning for the second in what turned out to be an utterly unexpected trilogy of podcasts. Seriously, I didn’t realise quite how many Asterix games there actually are, nor that there was so much to say about them! But you shall find out, dear Nauties, oh yes.

Naturally, this episode was recorded a while ago, so please excuse any discrepancies along the lines of the part where I say I’m sad because John Lennon just got shot. Okay, that didn’t happen (in the episode), but it’s an example of what I mean. The backlog is almost clear, this I promise you. I have one more Asterix in the tank, so for non-fans I can only apologise but I can’t stress this enough: none of us saw this coming.

Thankfully, with a new Asterix comic recently released, this is a mite more timely than it must have been when recorded, so that’s Serendipitix. Sorry, I mean serendipitous. Asterix on the brain, you see. Thankfully I didn’t make a terrible Gaul/gall pun this time. Actually, I’m not sure I did last time either. But it’s more than likely.

If you liked Asterix & Obelix on Snes, you should try Lucky Luke for Snes.

John mentions having recently played a "bunch of Korean DOS games" - this is extremely My Thing and I'm curious if he'd posted about his experience with them anywhere or if it was just a casual thing.
