This console has always been a joke to me as I've been convinced nobody played it. When I see it out in the wild, it's always boxed and in good shape. (Games too!) For a 45 year old console that's extremely weird, so I imagined people played it once, put it back in the box, and never touched it again. I myself have had one for years and never bothered to connect it.

This was fabulous. People seem to refer to the Odyssey2 as a poor man’s Atari 2600, so I appreciated a new perspective. I look forward to the CD-I episode!

I too wasn't familiar with O2 much... though I loved that screenshot of Monkey Shines in an old special edition of Games Magazine I checked out a you tube videotouching on each game - I love the German “kinder im verkehr” or "kids in traffic"

Fantastic episode. Time to get this Odyssey2 out of the box and repaired.

This was my first console as a kid. I knew ONE other kid that had one, and that was during the NES years. We did trade some games, so its how I got to play "Pick Axe Pete!" Unrelated, when he told me about the game, I thought he said "pick ass Pete" and I was less than enthused.
