So, I have been addressing some stuff which will need to be in place for the reminder of the game. Mainly, I finally took care of sleeping outside of Tarkas. Now you can/must sleep at inns if you are away, or if you don't want to/can't afford it, you'll have to take your chances on the streets. Not everything is lost, however, as you have a tent you can use to sleep outside (but it's not very comfortable, so you don't get a full recovery). For old saves, there will be tent you can pick up in your house, so that shouldn't be an issue (the game does assume you always have one, though, so if you are caught in some maps which are designated as "wilderness", you might get a scene where you camp for the night, even if the item isn't in your inventory).

Then, I took care of travelling. Now you can't take the cart anymore to travel east-west if Cornelius pass is closed, journey by ship takes a time slot, and I believe any and all loopholes about travel have been tackled.

I wrote the new scene for starting chapter 3 (which was long overdue), and finally I did a bit of this and a bit of that in Golden Leaf, adding some more interactions with the NPCs and mapping the interior area of the mansion.

As you can see, this was a bit of a wild ride, because I really needed to put some orders into these matters, or things would just get more and more borked as we moved forward, so I decided to take care of them all at once. I believe this sums up most of what I did, expect a preview for the new artwork commissions in the first few days of June, and stay tuned for more news in general. Have a nice week! ^_^

Hello, question do you have a chat or page where one could go to so they can figure out how to activate certain events in the gane

I have a page on my blog which has my personal notes on the game's content, and the comment section doubles as a help page. So far there isn't a proper walkthrough, though.

"I believe any and all loopholes about travel have been tackled." Did someone say.... Testing?

mdqp

Ha-ha, once I have more stuff in the game, you'll have your testing build. XD

If I get punished for missing work as a secretary, then after the punishment scene, the screen goes black. There are imperial officers asking if I need help (sounds like dialogue from Rahib) but I can't see anything. if I advance the day, then the screen shows up again, but the clerks won't let me out of the building.

Dang it, you are right! I guess everyone else played it as model employees, since I can't rememeber any reports about this issue. I already fixed it, but I'll probably wait until next release to make this go live, it's a relatively small issue, after all. By the way, to "fix" this, you'd have to teleport anywhere outside of the office, and then get back there. I'll add a "clear" function to the time cheating item, so players will always be able to revert the screen back to normal visibility (the only thing this might mess up is tinting, so we might get daylight when it's supposed to be night, but I figure this is a small price to pay).

The way I found around this was to call a new day, this put me in the entrance to the imperial offices in secretary uniform and then by completing the job it was back to normal

It's basically a problem with me not teleporting you back to the first floor that causes all the issues, so re-entering at any point in time to the office should trigger the final scene where you get paid and move on for the day.

I haven't gotten all the way through any of the builds so far, but one thing I keep wondering about is if it'll be possible for the main heroine to lose her home and then need to either stay at the beginning cities inn or rent an apartment. I've seen several characters in-game refer to how they want to leave (one was east of the main road, another was in the slums, and then you see the apartments that people can rent). I only mention this because it keeps occurring to me and the talk of the MC sleeping.

We'll have the ability to sleep in inns, on the streets or in a tent when you are away from home (I am adding it for the next release, actually), but if we lose our house, it will probably be for some catastrophic, one-way path (like, ending up as a slave). I was considering having a minor quest involving you playing "matchmaker" between people selling their house and people looking for one, but I don't know if it's worth adding it.
