Let's try this again, shall we? This should fix all the issues reported so far! XD

Actually fixed the paintings issue (might need you to use a save from before receiving the task of cleaning the paintings);

Actually fixed raining in the repaired lighthouse;

Changed the quest log for the main quest (only appears in new games, and it's not gameplay relevant, anyway);

This isn't exactly a bugfix, but now the background music keeps playing during blackjack games (having a new tune just for this seems wasteful, since the rounds are short, and the music/silence/music situation is even worse);

Fixed/added music transitions during the enslavement scene (do let me know if things are alright, and if the music for the slave path is good, so far it's just a test track);

Had a question for you. This may require a fix or maybe not, as it's been a release or two since I played (just busy lately, nothing against the game). So, in the Noble path, I've become a noble, got the town going: Can you actually fix the streets and wall? Before, your assistant could ask about it, and you could say, "Yeah, do it for 5k" but nothing was ever fixed. Now, she will tell you that they need to be fixed when you ask about "what's wrong with the town" but there's no option to actually fix it anymore, and sleeping on it a while hasn't produced results. Was wondering if you can actually fix up the streets and walls, or if this is something still for the future.

mdqp

In theory, it should work right now, but I wonder if it's a problem with the savefiles, or if there is something wrong (I recently had to change a few things to add the option to fix the lighthouse). Are you using a previous save file?

Polar_Bear

Yes, it was an older save. Which, if the answer is, "start a new game," I can understand that.

mdqp

It sadly might be the case. I would suggest trying to "power sleep" some more, just to make sure, then try a previous save file (if possible, from before you did any work on the city), and if both fails, you might have to wait until you start a new game. I don't keep detailed notes on how I fixed certain bugs, so I honestly don't remember the details, and if there is a way to sidestep this issue.

Polar_Bear

Good deal. I occasionally start up a new game so I can get some of the old scenes that are once-only anyway. And I need to start a new one for the Slave path (since the saves I've got now all had the Noble path complete, and you can't do the former if you've done the latter) already. So I'll just make sure I've got two different ones saved out. I probably don't keep as many random save files as I should for when stuff like the above happens.

mdqp

Do let me know if everything works out, in the end. I like playing games myself, so it really irks me when I leave these many issues around. Since the game is pretty complex, it's also becoming harder to keep track of everything, making it all the more frustrating.

Polar_Bear

Well, I mean, you're doing the work of an entire design and development team pretty much on your own. You can't be too hard on yourself. And your game has a lot fewer bugs than others that I've tried and had to drop because I'd get into playing, then hit a bug that meant I couldn't go back or do something, then I've realized that I'd not saved for an hour or two. That'll really kill the mood fast. I find I've not really had that problem with your game. So kudos for that. Are there bugs? Sure. But they're not constant and you're very responsive in trying to fix them. So yeah, don't get too down on yourself. It's a good game that I'm happy to back.

Aerhyce

I just noticed a harmless typo at the beginning of the enslavement path - there's a "n< Erica >" in the dialogue box, rather than...wherever it should've been.

mdqp

I thought I had fixed that... This is with the latest hotfix, 0.8b, right?

mdqp

Eh, I feel like I could do more, if I was more careful, but yeah, doing most things by myself is can be hard to juggle at times. I guess as long as you guys are happy, then it's fine, but I'll try to do better in the future. ^_^

Nina888

Well ... do you make a Master/Mistress who will rename Erica in the futur ?

Aerhyce

Ah, went through the passage again, and it does seem to be fixed! (My bad).

mdqp

As long as the problem isn't there anymore, everything is fine. ^_^

mdqp

Renaming Erica could be done easily, I guess it would be fun, if I can think of a good event for it.

Nina888

Well with the Mistress if Erica is sold to her ? Or, maybe a good gift to the Master Han ? But i have a idea , i have see a comics in deviant art hentai, and the girl who be selled by a master rename her to a number like #111 , for exemple.

Aerhyce

I found another problem, though (this time on 0.8b!); on the thief quick travel event, if I choose to pursue then stare, the picture stays on the screen afterwards (much like with the Janet event, before it was fixed).

Jonathan

I've found a bug. When you chase after the thief (random street event) and let her have her way with you, the picture remains on the screen like the problem with Janet.

mdqp

I need to be more careful with leaving the images on the screen after a scene... Anyway, It will be fixed with the next update, but since it's not a big deal, it might have to wait till next month.

mdqp

It's going to be fixed in the next release, which means it might be a month before the fix, unless there are other bugs to squash before then.

Aerhyce

Yeah, the image will go away when another one takes its place, and can be purged via the mirrors in the debug room anyway, so it's not really all that inconvenient.

Notanapothecary

I've found a bug. When working jobs at night in Tarkas (Golden Chalice, Casino) after the job the game says I need to find a place to sleep, either an inn or the street. I've already got the house though and should be able to sleep there. Additionally, both the inn option and the street option have me wake up in Rahib.

Cludged

I second this bug

mdqp

Could you guys tell me what did you do before working at night? Did you ever go to Rahib? How did you go back to Tarkas? Anything would useful.

Notanapothecary

Never visited Rahib. I can reproduce starting a new game->standard start->visit house and talk with Gaarth->nap->nap->Golden Chalice ask for work->take a shift. It doesn't seem to matter which random pub event happens while I work either.

mdqp

Okay, I think I know why this happened. It should probably be fixed in the next update, but in the meantime, if you need a quick solution, just exit and then re-enter Tarkas through the gate, it should be enough to take care of it.

Bug Report: When on the path to becoming a Zanti girl and hypnotized to get milked every morning, using the tent in the world map to skip to the next day breaks the forced job attendance. Attempting to manually go to the farm on that same day leads you into the stable but won't allow you to proceed, trapping you in there with no options to leave or do the job. Sleeping at home until the next day resets back to the usual get milked in the morning routine.

mdqp

I hadn't considered that interaction! I'll probably need some time to think about this. The easiest fix would be to make the forced attendance optional, but that would probably ruin the theme of the scenes. Keeping the mandatory presence while away from Tarkas is troublesome as well, however, as we can run in very specific scenarios that make no sense (like having no money in chapter 2 and being near the west coast, and then suddenly teleporting to the east overnight without spending any cash).

2026-10-05 08:00 New supporter here. Knew your game for a while now, honestly, but what you did with it in the last few versions is nothing short of amazing. I love how the traits Erica can get influence not just a few scenes, but the interactions as a whole! And the customisations are great, easily my favorite part. To see how the events influence her and change her, in mind and body... Pure bliss. Can't wait for more!

Thanks for the kind words! ^_^ I wish I had the traits system planned from the beginning, I could have made it more interesting and complete, but I hope to expand it bit by bit in the future as well.

mdqp

I am considering adding some traits like "sadist", "masochist", "submissive", and more, but we'll see how things go. I still need to add the pregnancy system, and start using intelligence more throughout the game. Those are systems that always keep me busy, since they can potentially affect a lot of scenes.

mdqp

For the pregnancy stuff, I might "cheat" a little, because I don't like how it's usually handled in adult games. I'd like for human pregnancies to actually end the game, because the idea of super fast pregnancies (which would be required for a game) and ignoring the babies afterward (again, almost a necessity in a videogame) don't sit well with me, and I'd like the risks to be appropriate instead (although I'll probably give players the possibility to rollback to before the sex scene, so that they aren't forced into retirement). Monster pregnancies on the other hand are fine, since we can excuse the fast pregnancies and the monsters just using you as an incubator, so you not taking care of the baby makes perfect sense. I'd use praying to the Goddess of love and fertility as the in-game menu for this stuff, so that players can pray for no pregnancies, risky sex, or full on "I want to get pregnant everytime". Maybe I could even add a trait that makes the protagonist obsessed with pregnancies, so she can't ask to pull out or use protection. There is indeed a reputation score being tracked, and some plans to have events tied to what you are suggesting. Right now, I'd like people to approach you in the streets (in random events), if you go beyond a certain notoriety and I also want your slut reputation to have a negative impact if you try to go for the queen path, once I add that one in. Well, these are all plans for now, I'll be happier once they are actually in the game. There is always a lot of work to do when translating ideas into the actual gameplay. XD

mdqp

Once I went for noble, I figured we'd also could go for Queen (or concubine). The priestess of Santhora at the royal castle also mentions this to you, in a way (although the proper discussion can only be seen once, right now, since if you leave after the ceremony you can't go back to the castle at the moment). I think I'll start working on pregnancies in the next month or two, so hopefully you'll get to see it for yourself, and like how things turn out. I'll probably need some help from the players as well, to figure out which scenes should qualify for "pregnancy risk" (in theory, all scenes with a man could, but we'll probably have to pick and choose, if just to avoid a lot of generic endings).
