So, this is the art I'll be using for the milking scenes from now on! To be honest, I have mixed feelings about it: while I think the quality is good, the artstyle might be too much of a departure from the rest of the game, so I am really struggling coming to terms with the look. Anyway, I tweaked it a little (and resized it for the game), and I got this one, which is actually what I'll use in the game (plus another smaller edit, similar to it):

As you can probably tell, I made the image a bit brighter, fiddled with the reds and the contrast, made her eyes glassy, etc., but no major changes. Still, I hope you like it (Maybe I get a chance to switch it with something else in the future, but it would be a bit of a pity, I think it's good, just the artstyle clashes a little), but whatever the case, I thought I should show the preview now that it's done (the sketch was a bit rough, so I decided not to show it before).

Anyway, I'll take the opportunity to thank all the people who play the game and support me here on Patreon: I probably do it less than I should, but Patreon reminds me about it every 5 seconds, so after that it almost feels like I am thanking you because they told me to, and I end up not doing it (I also have no idea how to properly thank people for this, it's kind of a big deal, and it's weird to thank people who are so generous with me over such a long time). So, uh, thanks everyone! ^_^

The new version will be up next week, and I should probably start thinking about the poll (I have an idea for what to vote on next, but I'd like to have a few more ideas so people have enough choices). I really can't think of anything else, so see you soon!

P.S. LOL at the url of the second picture! XD

AWESOME PICK GET IT INTO THE GAME NAAAAAOOOO

It's already in the game (the version on my PC, at least). ;p

I wouldn't worry -too- much about having multiple art styles in your game, it's not terribly uncommon, especially in rpgmaker games. Things like Monmusu Quest or even something western like Trials in Tainted Space have contributions from more than one artist. I think the quality of the art is more important than the stylistic consistency, and this piece is definitely up to snuff.

As to thanking the patrons: at least in my case, the fact that you send out updates and new versions of the game with the frequency you do is plenty thanks. Few things feel worse than radio silence from a creator you've been paying close attention to.

But I like it when things are nice and tidy and consistent!!! Joking aside, it's not a big issue, but I would love to have a single artist do all the art, or at least for the styles to be closer. I can't always have it (it was a NIGHTMARE to find a good artist to begin with), but it still makes me a bit sad. I should really get that graphic tablet and start doing my own art, worse case scenario, I just practiced my skills a little, plus it's been a while since I last picked up the pencil, it might be a nice excuse to draw more. Well, you know, maybe I am just feeling guilty for doing something I like and getting money for it, since many people can't say the same. It's especially weird because I have been making games just as a hobby before, so now I just feel really grateful (even getting some paypal donations when I was making my previous game was like receiving an unexpected christmas gift every time).

Since your commissioning the art from freelance artists the differing styles seems unavoidable. Though it would be nice if you could keep a consistent art style for individual event chains.

Yeah, looks like I'll have to be mindful of that when I commission art going forward.

It's lovely quality, but I can see why you have mixed feelings. It seems less mindlessly joyful than the 2nd iteration pics (with the custom protagonist). The eyes rolled back and the open-mouthed smile did a lot for it, as well as the at-attention posture.
