So....I'm so sorry I didn't realize until I read the comments last week that I was making y'all wait so long for the season finale. Oops!

Anyway, this season was so EPIC and I'm LOVING this show so much. We're keeping it rolling by just getting into season 3 today (in a separate post). I made the executive decision to continue haha. Hope you don't mind!

You're the one who implied that the intro would change halfway through the season because you remembered how we all said the season 2 intro was so hype, but you just didn't like the intro as much as we did and so you assumed it would change haha! But all the other seasons do have 2 intros, changing halfway through.

Nat, I don't know if you know this yet, but at some point you've gotta watch 'A Choice with No Regrets' OVA! It's a two-parter Levi canon backstory :) I don't remember exactly when it should be watched, but I think between Season 3 Part 1 and Part 2

There's plenty of places you can watch them besides crunchyroll I'm pretty sure. I certainly didn't watch them on crunchyroll or Hulu all the times I watched them. :) And No Regrets would be the one OVA I'd really recommend watching as it adds some context to Levi's character you otherwise don't get.

The SCREAMMM baby! Remember when Annie screamed to attract all the titans to eat her titan form in season 1? I think the Beast Titan used it this season too. Eren basically unlocked a new titan ability 😂 I forgot that happened though! I fr thought he was going to punch the Titan and it was gonna explode 😭 Ymir choosing to go back and save Reiner and Bertholdt because, technically, they’re still her people, was very sweet. I can’t remember what happens with their storyline but I need Ymir to find peace on a ranch with Historia somewhere And the tease at the end oooof, here comes this BITCH

now that you've seen the episode, I’m beginning to think that it's difficult to enjoy the s2 theme song as much until you know the significance of the chant "shinzou o sasageyo!"

Once, when the season aired, years before season 3, which was years before season 4 lol.. Very easy to forget what happened in one episode of one anime, years after having first watched it. Not exactly the rumbling is it

I hate to see Hannes die... but it's the best thing for his character in loosing to the smiling titan, because that means that he made the right call back in Shiganshina, confirmation that he would have died to her back then and the kids along with him.
