Hey! Just a reminder that there is a post-credits scene after the midway point of Season 3 (episode 49), AFTER it says "To Be Continued..." But in order for it to have effect you need to be familiar with the credits song, so I would highly recommend you watch at least 3 or 4 of the end credits for this season. And just in case you forget which episode it is, it might be a good habit to just stick around the extra 1 minute for the credits this season anyway :)

if youre interested in levi's backstory, there is 2 bonus episodes that came out between season 1 and 2 called "a choice with no regrets" that wont spoil anything but it goes into how levi joined the survey corps and met erwin. def worth a watch, theyre both roughly the same amount of time as a regular episode of aot. and one more thing, this seasons op is great. watching it first time is jarring but as things move along, you learn to really love it.

Yeah for sure, I like this opening too, it's sentimental and nostalgic in a way that is very pleasing... Just takes some getting used to after all the epicness lol

I think the intro is better on second viewing knowing the full context of the series. As a song on its own I think it's fine but not as good as the first 3, but combined with the imagery in context of the story I think it's so beautiful

Man I absolutely love this opening, but maybe that's because I've seen the whole show. It's definitely different from the previous ones but I think its fitting because as you'll see the tone of this season has shifted a little bit too

If you want more Levi watch the two Levi backstory episodes called “No Regrets.” They’re on there on Crunchyroll, many people myself included consider them must-watches for Levi and Erwin’s characters and relationship with each other

That one’s a teaser because the anime was going on a month-long hiatus before the next arc, not a proper scene. It’s like saying it’s imperative to watch the infinity war trailer that was attached at the end of Thor: Ragnarok.

Yeah but then they usually end up guessing what happens leading up to it. Allowing one moment of hype to undercut the reveal of what has to happen later is not worth it, unless you’re only into hype reacting

I like the opening theme song, but admit that its vastly different from the previous ones so I can see why you're not a big fan lmao. Something about it reminds me of The Muse lol.

Nooo this is the best season opening theme! Also, pay attention to the opening clips.. it gives some good hints about Reiner and the gang.

I'm still catching up, but I just want to say that this theme song, at least for me, got better and better with each episode. I didn't care for it at first either! I sing along each time now!
