I had fun playing "Female Superhero-movie Dialogue Bingo" with The Eternals, but I'm not sure sitting through the dark chik-flik martyr/empowerment-fantasy paranoia of Jessica Jones is worth it-- The Marvel Netflix Universe of Daredevil and The Defenders is bleak and depressing enough as it is.

Despite what some people think you really do need to watch all Marvel "Netflix" shows and in the right order as well for Daredevil to make sense. You can do S1 and S2 without any of the others but season 3 of Daredevil makes no sense unless the Defenders has been watched and Defenders doesn't really make sense without having knowledge of the other characters. Combine that with the fact that several characters gets introduced in a show that's not their own you do really need the correct order for it all to work :)

You may not get the “full enjoyment” out of it or whatever, but with Daredevil, you absolutely do not have to slog through all the other Netflix shows for it to make sense. Just watch S1/2, then Defenders if you want to, then S3. If you start S3 without Defenders it will lack a bit of sense but you can just either watch it or read a plot summary on Wiki. I watched Defenders just for bonus content and it’s good, the other characters are fun, but nowhere near the quality of the rest of DD (which didn’t lose quality for me at all without watching the other shows). Every season is stellar, but it gets better as it goes on, just like Airbender, S3 or DD is by far the best according to popular opinion!

Agents of Shield has too many seasons. If Kevin Fiege ever decides to bring any of the characters into the MCU, then I'd say it's worth watching. I'm definitely voting for Daredevil all the way! Maybe after watching it, you'll truly understand how terrifying Fisk can be.

Can we stop putting shows like AOS with 100+ episodes on the polls even if Nat did 2 eps twice a week we'd be still doing it next year and even though some of it was good it's not recognised canon anymore.

Daredevil has to be first to really appreciate the masterpiece of Jessica’s Jones season 1, but you can skip every other Defender show honestly

If you're doing netflix marvel shows, you kind of have to do it in a certain order, because there are connections. DD season 1, JJ season 1, DD season 2, Luke Cage season 1, Iron Fist season 1, defenders, Punisher season 1, JJ season 2, Luke Cage season 2, Iron Fist season 2, DD season 3, Punisher season 2, JJ season 3

The thing about voting on the MCU stuff is that you really need to watch them in a specific order. You'll never get to Agents of SHIELD because, while it is a phenominal series, not many watched it because the shows two strongest leads are Asian females, so it did very poorly in the US and on top of that, someone somewhere mistakenly stated that it was not part of the MCU timeline, which is most definitely is for at least 5 seasons. So if you ever want to watch this amazingly character and story driven show, you'll just have to chose to watch it, it will never win a vote. As for the Defenders series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, Luke cage and Iron fist) You need to watch them in the release order, not series by series or you end up missing out on the story as intended. It's a shame you will likely never see Agents of Shield. Because it doesn't have the massive budget of most Marvel shows, it had to rely on the characters and story. if you do get to it, you'll be so far divorced from the events of the show you already know that you will likely be very confused about many things that correlate to the main MCU films. You really needed to start AoS back before Captain America the Winter Soldier and watched it along with the MCU films that it shadows. That being said. Dare Devil season 1 is a start. How you proceed from there will determine if you have a great watching experience or a constantly confused one.

So hard for me to choose between Agents of SHIELD and Daredevil but i’m glad at least one of them is winning. I know Agents of SHIELD is an intimidating show for a reaction channel because of how long it is but I hope you get to it one day lol

There are some good options here. DD and JJ are wonderful. The Boys is great too, Season 3 is on its way. Agents of Shield is so hard because it is long. But I really like the characters, but the plots can be silly, but so what it's fun, but it doesn't matter, but the acting is great... Sometimes. I haven't seen Umbrella, but I've heard good things. Seems DD swept this, with Boys in #2. That could just be because DD leads into Jessica Jones, and eventually Punisher.

Daredevil is a fantastic series. Only thing is, in order to understand the events going into season 3, Nat would have to watch the one season of The Defenders.

I voted for the Boys because it's more suited for a reaction video imo. Though the Netflix Marvel series is worth investing time in; Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, Luke Cage and Defenders are all great (excluding Iron Fist) I am curious about what the other categories will be. It's going to be a though last poll! Sci-Fi: The Expanse, Love Death + Robots, Upload, Westworld Crime: Ozark, Mindhunters, True Detective, Narcos, Peaky Blinders Mystery: Dark, Stranger Things, Undone Comedy: The Good Place, Brooklyn 99, Community, Only Murders in the Building I can recommend all of the above

I'm glad that Daredevil did so well. But its almost impossible to get into and fully understand what's going on, especially as the seasons progress and crossovers become more common, without getting into the other Netflix marvel shows And realistically you cant just watch all of Daredevil and then move onto the next one, you have to mix and match the seasons to watch the overall story in the order it aired on Netflix

Don't know if anyone agree with me here but if Natalie dose watch AOS then maybe It might be in idea to watch the Ghost Rider movies for his back story, I know they aren't great! But still it would a first as I don't know of anyone doing a reaction to these movies yet

Wow sad that AoS is so low. I know the first season is slow but it ramps up to be one of the greatest tv series out there the character development is top notch and humor on point throughout. But I'm not mad that Daredevil is winning another great series and I'd really like to see what Nat will think of the Kingpin after her short introduction to him in Hawkeye

I'm a little disappointed agents of shield isn't getting a lot of votes, it seems like a show she would love, I think the problem is just not alot of people have seen it or stuck with it past the first half of season one, compared to the other shows, cause anyone that I have heard talk about it that has finished it has nothing but great things to say about it, with that being said daredevil is also a great show, so looking forward to that.

Agents of Shield is amazing imo! Seasons 1 - 4 anyway. After that, it gets a bit meh. But the "first half sucking" i hear and see people say I disagree with. It is a sort of an odd start; show feels a bit campy and silly at the beginning. But it's just letting you see the characters and really know them before the REAL stuff starts happening and you see some amazing amazing amazing character growth and story lines. After season 4 though, it really drops off, and jumps the shark a lot. I do hope Nat does get to AoS eventually, but yea... considering characters from the Netflix Marvel series are already starting to pop up, Daredevil and Jessica Jones should be priority, I think. Punisher season 1 is excellent too, and as a military veteran really hits me in the feels HARD. Season 2 is still really good, but the first is just the Bee's Knees xD

The defenders is required before watching daredevil season 3. And jessica jones, luke cage and iron fist are required to watch the defenders. Daredevil season 1->jessica jones season 1-> daredevil season 2->luke cage season 1->iron fist season 1->the defenders season 1->the punisher season 1->jessica jones season 2->luke cage season 2->iron fist season 2-> daredevil season 3-> the punisher season 2-> jessica jones season 3

When you watch the (used to be) netflix marvel shows the seasons of all the shows have an order that you can look up, some of the seasons of daredevil take place after seasons of the other shows while the first season of it is the first in the chronological order
