Oh my, I went to high school in the mid to late 70's and it was nothing like this. Sure kids got high, but nothing stronger than marijuana while listening to like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Queen , David Bowie or the many Motown artist like the Jackson 5 or James Brown records. The first time I got high it was to this Curtis Mayfield song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7FjUnPYbU0 and I was 17. Parents were pretty liberal back then and I remember going to this white kids house and he had a water bong in his room and played Elton John Funeral for a Friend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8hvGmaY_FM, OMG and after had the munchies and got banana splits and marathon candy bars and was that a great experience. But nothing like this movie, no kids were junkies. To describe my HS experience is was more like several John Hughes movies like Pretty in Pink or Some Kind of Wonderful or all the other movies of the early 80's. These kids in Euphoria seems more like adults and we seemed like little kids compared to them.

Could you maybe put out a general release schedule for the shows you’re going to be watching. Not like an exact date for what’s coming out, just a a rough idea of what shows are going to be what days going forward. Just so we know what exactly what we’re paying for. No offence, but this is not one of the shows I’d pay to watch someone react to.

I like that you're watching shows I haven't seen yet. I hadn't seen Ted Lasso or Squid Game before you just decided to watch them. This show looks promising. Zendaya's great. And yeah, it's crazy how young kids are getting into hard shit nowadays. I was pretty deep into drugs and drinking in my 20s, but in high school I just smoked a little weed every now and then. It was such awful, shwaggy weed in those days.

I did watch this show but I don't like it. I feel like it's very pretentious. Like it's not as deep or impactful as it thinks it is. Just a mediocre high school story with a lot of unnecessary nudity imo. Hope you enjoy it tho.

Id love to hear your take on this kind of show. Not so surprising your watching this despite it being so different to your typical content if you consider this show apart of the “pandemic streaming zeitgeist”. Just like avatar entering Netflix at the beginning of the pandemic euphoria season2 was a big event. My opinion..

Hi Nat and thanks for this reaction! 😃 Not my cup of tea this kind of show, and I wasn't expecting this show hahaha, but honestly, this 1st ep is pretty solid, really liked Zendaya, and it's crude, I like it more than I thought hahaha (but damn, those kids are really annoying hahahaha) Personally, I think you should take this kind of initiative more often, after all it's your channel, and it surely gives opportunity to movies/series that have no chance or less chance in polls. At some point, if you haven’t seen it yet, you should watch Freaks & Geeks. Just one season aired at 18 episodes, but turned into a cult classic.

Never seen it before. 30 minutes into episode 1 I realised why I'd never bothered with this garbage. This is what 18 episodes of crap (If you do both seasons back to back) so months before you react to something interesting again in this slot

I actually signed up for your Patreon specifically for this show. I’d been considering it for a while and I’ve also wanted to watch Euphoria since it came out. My gf would never watch it with me, but after 15 years, we are no longer together. I didn’t want to watch it alone either though, so I figured this is the next best thing to watching it with a friend. I promise not to be weird, despite how parasocial this all sounds.
