Darryl Low

Happy Wednesday Nat. Just has to be Goodfellas. R.I.P. Ray Liotta 🙏 You're definitely going to need some light-hearted viewing after next week 😊 Have a great day 💛

beansprouts

Everyone who didnt vote for memento clearly hasnt seen memento

Majin Blunt

The one time I know what to choose and its actually winning. And I didn't even watch the movie hehe

Cole Crouse

Sicario is great. You should also check out Prisoners. They're both from Denis Villeneuve who did Blade Runner 2049 and Dune.

Rey

My favorite poll are these ones, always wanna see all 4 win lol, I'll pick goodfellas in honor of Ray Liotta tho

Terry

Sicario!! It would be great

The Guy on the Couch

Ever since I joined this channel, I've wanted Nat to react to a movie about a gangster

Rey

I want her to see prisoners so bad lol

Keith Jones

Every one of these movies are great. However, with the passing of Ray, I had to vote for Goodfellas.

Kiskotagan

Any of these would be great! Though just a question, have you seen any Quentin Tarantino stuff?

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! 😊 "Goodfellas" easily got my vote. R.I.P to Ray Liotta! Have a great day! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Andy Crawley

I think you’d love both Memento and Sicario, but Sicario wins out for me, it’s so tense, especially the sequel. Goodfellas is great, Joe Pesci is legit incredible.

Nambao Mutemwa

Not Goodfellas, Not Goodfellas, Not Goodfellas! Considering changing my vote to Sicario to stop Goodfellas from winning!

Joshua Kon

This is going to be a very close poll

Smoolio

The Arcane trilogy :p (actual answer Sicario for the suspense) <3

Ryan Williams

Goodfellas is my favorite film here but you won't go wrong with any of these picks.

Nambao Mutemwa

Need a poll for comedy too, The Other Guys, Crazy Stupid Love, Tropic Thunder and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

Caleb

Goodfellas and reservoir dogs are soooo good. I like that I’m finally seeing a Tarantino movie in the polls, he makes the best movies imo

Adam Harris

Gotta be Goodfellas for Ray Liotta

Nick

All good movies but if you're watching someone react to a movie for the first time it has to be Memento

Connor D

A future movie to consider is Seven Psychopaths, it's a fun mix of comedy and crime.

Lomino

whats wrong with Goodfellas? Especially with Ray Liotta just passing away

Caleb

Funny, I was just thinking the same for anyone not voting for goodfellas or reservoir dogs.. I’ve seen every movie in this list and the other two don’t compare IMO

Nambao Mutemwa

I w wouldn't say it's the most overrated movie, but it is in the top 1.

Bailey Mignott

I love Goodfellas but Sicario is one of my favourite films in the last 10 years

Nathan Smith

I see no Rick Moranis so I’m abstaining in protest 😜

R. Chang

I thought you wanted to have a fun uplifting movie to offset Daredevil and Euphoria? These aint that. That said, I love Memento and Reservoir Dogs.

Adam Block

Wow some really serious but great movies. I really suggest Sicario and Memento. Both a really moving good movies. :)

Rev.J

I would suggest to do Tarantino as a set from Reservoir Dogs to Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood. Rather than pit them against others. View them also in order of release.

Tomas

Reservoir Dogs is such a good movie. Still one of Tarantino's best in my humble opinion. 😊

Daniel Andersen

Goodfellas and Sicario are heavily appraised movies that I just dont like. Voted Memento, as that would make for a weird reaction, trying to find out what the hell is happening

Edward Rahardjo

Can't go wrong with any of them and it shows as it's a neck and neck race. Really close call, but I voted for Memento

Stropheum

"The Score" not listed in a crime drama vote pepehands

Chris Haar

Gotta go Goodfellas just as a send off to Ray Liotta

Steve J

as said, these are all top tier movies. Momento stands out as the one to be there when somebody watches it for the first time.

Neil Johnson

Is BBC's Sherlock close enough?

K.N.

For this one I voted for what I thought would be most entertaining to see Nat react to, rather than just what my favorite movie in the poll is. So I voted Memento.

Dante

Hard to compare Goodfellas and Memento. The style and genre of the films are so vastly different from each other that they're going to appeal differently to different people. Personally, my favorite types of films are ones like Fight Club, Shutter Island, Donnie Darko etc. so I like Memento quite a bit more than Goodfellas. All 4 movies on this list are must watches for anybody who considers themselves a fan of film.

MephistoBRS

This list is crazy, you can basically close your eyes and pick one and you're ok.

beansprouts

yeah thats true there in classes of there own. personally i think those a great films but memento is great for reactions from first time viewers i think. and yes those other films you said too are nice picks too especially for reactions. fight club especially.

Chris

all great, sicario is probably currently my favorite of these. I don't see goodfellas not winning though, and that's just fine, it's fantastic. It's also probably the most rewatchable imo, so i'm in.

Darchangel

Jack Reacher (the movie) for a later poll is something I want to suggest

Rey

Wow basically a 3 way tie for 2nd place at this point, guess you gotta react to all of em lol

Adam

Has to be reservoir dogs for me. Got to be one of my favourite films!!

Raj Hudek

That line-up makes it impossible to choose. I just picked 'em all but if I had to rate them 1. Goodfellas 2. Reservoir Dogs 3. Memento 4. Sicario. But they are all amazing!

Austin

You really should watch em all at some point. All great films.

The Hedge Knight

Natalie: I need to watch some lighter movies to counteract these heavy tv series. Also Natalie: Help me pick a crime movie.

Ben Wheeler

I voted for Memento but it makes my head hurt every time I watch it.

Adam Doyle

Other good Crime movies include Heat and Casino

Regi Todd

Honestly, even though I voted for Reservoir Dogs, it's REALLY good to see Goodfellas winning. RIP Ray Liotta.

CyandTonic

Oh I love them all! But Sicario would be such a good reaction movie imo

Matthew Periolat

It’s gotta be Goodfellas. A. It’s a classic. B. On the heels of Ray Liotta’s passing, the timing is perfect

MikeLL

I agree, but of course it's a Patreon poll, so Goodfellas is going to win. But it will be close. I like that Nat always has few choices, imagine if Sicario was on there with 9 other movies, even less a chance to win.

Erik Stevenson

These are all very good; voting Sicario hoping to eventually see Hell or High Water and Wind River as well.

Ian Rastall

Memento is pretty much required viewing. Reservoir Dogs *is* required, but Goodfellas should be in every syllabus. Every class. Even subjects totally unrelated to film. Also, Sicario is a movie.

MikeLL

Prisoners is an amazing, amazing film, I think it is better than most, not all, of Nolan's films.

MikeLL

With a poll with only 4 choices, voting for two just dilutes your vote. Pick a film you want to champion and stick with that one. I'm surprised Resovoir Dogs is getting so many votes, clearly the lesser film here.

Bobby Riesco

In honor of Ray Liotta who just passed away last week: Goodfellas

MikeLL

Wow, four really highly regarded movies and three brilliant directors, and then you have Tarantino.

Mastervodo

I think Reservoir Dogs would be just Nat for the whole movie going "Ew Ew Ew Ew ... I don't like it ... I don't like it ... EWWWW" So - Talking to you Nat - Yes you... hello you.... watch Res.D if you wanna go "EW".

Jules 4 Fools

I've not seen a lot of these movies, but I've always been meaning to see them so I'm excited to see what you pick!

Stephen Lewis

Sicario is a darker suspense film which is probably why I love it, but honestly you could pick any of the 4 and have great reaction worthy content...hopefully you get to all of them eventually!

jamie jones

My vote was sicario. All are amazing though. Honestly if i had to pick the worst on the list, it would be goodfellas. But liotta just died so i understand goodfellas winning. Sicario, memento and reservoir dogs are all amazing and would be amazing reactions. It hurt to not vote for tarantino.

Bryan David

All great films, but this is an easy pick since one of the films is "Goodfellas".

Jason Dolan

Gotta go with GOODFELLAS for obvious reasons

Richard Maurer

Yes, he is a cut above the rest. That's what you meant, right?

fryke

I guess everyone's forgotten how good Memento is?

SilverWolf

Ooh, I haven't seen any of these!

Troy

As much as I'd like to see you react to Memento, I'm with everyone who is saying Goodfellas in memory of Ray Liotta.

James Tyrrell

You'll need to come back to Memento when you have the time.

MikeLL

No, unfortunately. If you nailed me down and asked me to take Tarantino or leave him, I'd leave him. I consider Scorcese Villlenauve, and Nolan to be much more accomplished and compelling, Tarnantino is a little too juvenile for my tastes.

Byron

Oooooo a close one

John

All good choices. I have to give Goodfellas the nod, but Reservoir Dogs is a classic.

Dooly

Very surprised to see an actually good poll for once.

Kelvin

Can’t wait for these family fun films to win :)

Elmo

Ive only seen Sicario, and been meaning to watch either one of the other 3, so Im stoked either way

Elmo

Also, if i could make a few suggestions to maybe consider please! - Tenet, confusing vibe similar to that of Inception, involving time - Jojo Rabbit, heartfelt drama comedy starring ScarJo - Onward, completely underrated Disney animated film, didnt get its shine due to COVID

Daniel Restaro

Dude Sicario is one of my favourite films! The sequel Is even better!

Hector M.

Sicario.... hands down, masterfully done!

Kevin Bartelen

I know Memento is great, I haven't seen the other options yet, but I have heard good things about them.

Rick Sullivan

I love all of Nolans movies but Tenet kinda missed the mark for me. It's cool I guess but, idk

Thomas Malley

I would love to see your reaction to Memento, but I'm sure Goodfellas will win because of the recent death ....

Elmo

tbf i did enjoy it more the 2nd time 'round, after watching some youtube 'breadown' vids about it lol

Andrew Minton

Goodfellas is a true classic, but Memento is so original I'd love to watch your reaction to it most of all, your insight would be so interesting. But all 4 of these movies are worth watching for your followers.

Philip

This is what a list of winners look like

Casey Walker

Try out some David Lynch in the future! Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are both fantastic

Raj Hudek

I agree with Dante on this. There isn't a Nolan film I haven't loved yet, but Memento is a style all its own. A unique film that really introduced me to Nolan as a director, Guy Pearce as an amazing actor and Carrie-Ann Moss as someone other than Trinity! The other three are also all amazing, but Tarantino just does film differently. He is the king of subtext. He has entire scenes from all his films where the conversations are just dialogue gold. His ability to utilize the make-believe factor in films to alter real-life historical events is genius. His movies are the type of films that literally get better every time you watch them. Sicario is amazing but I don't know a lot about Villenueve or Sollima. I do know however, that Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio del Toro killed it! As for Goodfellas, it's just a classic, period. If we don't want to let its Oscar Nominations or Oscar win speak for it, then for me it's the fact that Scorsese is a god of the type of films he makes and Goodfellas is a perfect example of that. Pesci is Scorsese's one trick pony but he's the best at performing that trick (and I mean, there's Home Alone as well! You know it's true!). With Ray, he has a special place in my film watching history because I watched him as a young teenager: No Escape, Turbulence, Field of Dreams etc., and Good Fellas is at the top of my list! RIP Ray! Henry Hill will always be the guy who invented the pejorative "Karen" in my book!!!

Logan Kerlee

I'm down for any of these! I voted for all but Goodfellas though. If I had to pick one it'd be Memento. I love that film and feel that it's one that Natalie would enjoy seeing.

Charles Hines

geez, I thought you were looking for something a little more light hearted. 🤣

Chris

Wind River

Zutara Forever

You should watch True Detective season 1! One of the best crime shows with a phenomenal cast

Ilsuk Yang

I could be wrong, but I believe Nat has watched at least some of True Detective. Anyone is free to correct me if I am misremembering

Flur Oji

if you know nothing about memento then its a good watch

Angel Sanchez

Wow Great options, Down for any :)

Dooly

Must have been one hell of a breadown

JayF

Goodfellas is the best of these IMO. I went with Sicario though because I'd love to see you react to two other movies written by Taylor Sheridan. Wind River which stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen and Hell or High Water which stars Chris Pine, Ben Foster, and Jeff Bridges.

Erik Stevenson

Yes please! That "trilogy" is so incredible.

Nick

Yes. I feel most people just pick their favorite without thinking what would be better to hear her reaction on. Good fellas is great but there's not much in the way of reacting to it. Memento will keep her guessing/questioning & us entertained from her reaction. Otherwise I'd just go watch any of these others on my own.

Richard Maurer

It's not the most overrated movie, but it is overrated.

Richard Maurer

While I was being sarcastic, what you said above goes for me too - except about Scorcese. And instead of too juvenile I'd say too full of himself and too in love with mob/crime movies.

Rokkshell

yoo btw Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness comes to D+ on June 22nd.

Matthew

All are great films, but Memento's "twisty-ness" gives it an edge, especially for reactions.

Josh

Out of those Memento.

Brandon Ralphs

You literally need to watch all of these. No question.

Cripkie

Tarantino has an uncanny valley feeling to his direction but it works. He has a fixation on gore violence but im guessing its that "grind house influence from his childhood.

Eric Janssen

He wants to remake every movie (especially the gritty-violent cult ones) he remember from his video B-movie childhood, and I'm guessing at some point he came across a copy of "Wild 90". Tarantino is one of the directors (like Joe Dante and Peter Bogdanovich) I would put on the list of "Directors you would rather listen to talk ABOUT old movies for ninety minutes, than watch the stuff they make themselves".

Travis

No misses on this poll 🔥

dieselbeast

These are all good but Goodfellas has to be watched first lol classic, up there with the godfather, Scarface movies imo

jamie jones

Tarantino is the best writer/director out there. Inglourious and django are among the best movies ever made.

Jose Nuño

I've watched Goodfellas 2 times already since the passing of Ray. Can't wait for you to watch it too. Gives me ANOTHER reason.

Miguel Rivas

donnie brasco should be up there ps love your vids

Daryll Mancill

You’ve already watched The Departed. If you watch Goodfellas too, you’ve got to complete the Scorsese mob trifecta with Casino. It’s one of my favorite movies.

JackRan only if JackChased

Mementos my favourite here. Good showing in the poll too. Howeva I feel it was a bit of odd man out here. One of these things is not like the other.

T.L. Thomas

I was hoping Training Day would be on here

dieselbeast

Can't wait for Goodfellas reaction today, it's a masterpiece, right up there with the godfather and Scarface also must watches!

Cripkie

Training day: "Goodfellas ain't got sh#$t on me!"
