Happy Friday Fellas Feature Nat 😄 Not seen this for many years, so it will be interesting to watch along with you and see what I remember. Scorsese always keeps you on edge and nervous with his movies. The Joe Pesci "I'm funny to you?" moment is so good, as he ramps up his anger but it was all a gag. Lorraine Bracco who played Karen, was Oscar nominated for her role, and she is also very good, and very funny in Medicine Man alongside Sean Connery, another movie you should check out sometime. Loved your reaction today Nat. Always a good one when there's lots of characters, but in this one you wanted to flush them all down the toilet ha ha. That's gangsters for ya 😊 Thanks for a really cool video today, and as always, thanks for all your awesome work this week. Looking forward to watching more Daredevil with you. Have a brilliant weekend Nat 💛

Andy Jordan

Looking forward to this one. Getting my drink and snack ready. Happy you're getting to some more Scorsese. And also seeing some of Ray Liotta's work (RIP); we lost a good one last week. This should be a good one. Cheers!

Randee Carreno

Happy Feature Friday, Natalie! 😊 RIP to Ray Liotta!!! This is a great movie! It's been a while since I've seen this movie. But I do remember the what it's about, and the great cast. Looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

dieselbeast

I haven't been this excited for a reaction of yours since avengers endgame, 😁😁😁 thank you for this!!!

Rey

I'm excited

Jose Nuño

YEEEESSSSSSSS~!!!!!!!!!

Ian

Happy Friday nat not a fan of this genre so won't be watching but hope those that do have fun watching along with you 👍 have a great weekend and until next week stay golden 💛

NawwDude

Anyone know what version this is.....? Y'know for everyone else, which is everyone...that *DOESN'T* have Max................................

DarthChef

7 and 7: mixed drink of seagrams 7 and 7 up. Quite tasty

Adam Doyle

Ray Li "oh" tta ... anyways, for more Ray Liotta films. try Cop Land, or for something lighter, try Field Of Dreams for the feels.

Vaughn Bell

Rest in Piece Ray Liotta, this is hands down my favorite "mob movie" and a very large part of that is due to Ray's performance.

djKENTO

I’m about to get so fucking high and watch this. I haven’t been able to sleep so this should be fun.

Jenny Chalek

I too will be getting high on edibles before watching this after work. LOL. I've seen it so many times but I've never seen a reaction to it.

David Sumner

You know who's a really good fellow? The guy from Roadhouse!

Wu Sha Ling

to preface: i have little preference if you record in casual, sweats or fancy. but i got to say it's a cute dress/top. great content either way.

Night King01

Well casino is the next logical watch after goodfellas I consider it superior.

FoH Film Club

no question top five favorite, maybe all time favorite film. It's so enjoyable watching a master at the top of their game

djKENTO

“Well… sucks to suck…” is my favorite reaction moment of any movie you’ve watched. I felt the same way.

dieselbeast

I'm so happy you finally reacted to this movie!!! This was an incredible good movie and your reaction was also gold! You understand film making! Please do Scarface and the first two godfathers movies it's in the same vein as this movie!!!!

MikeLL

This is the standard theatrical version that is 2 hours 25 min.

ButtyOh

In the bar scene at around the 17 minute mark, when the camera is panning around and Narrator Henry is calling out the names of all the guys, they were real gangsters One name who stands out is Michael "Mikey" Franzese, a real New York mafia man who spent his life in and out of US prisons and currently has a popular YouTube channel where he talks about mafia stuff, about his life and reacts to mafia related scenes from films and tv shows He does not appreciate being in this film. Tells a story about how he and his wife walked out of the movie theatre when his name was said

jamie jones

You should react to every movie that was on the poll goodfellas won. Just saying.

Ron Hiler

Good times! If you enjoyed this, I'd suggest maybe checking out The Sopranos (even has a couple of the same actors). Good series, I'd love to see your reaction to that one.

Daniel Casillas

“As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster”. One of my favorite lines in film

Keith Jacobsen

Nat, a 7 and 7 is Seagram's Seven Crown whiskey and 7up, on the rocks.

Lee Gannon

Both Martin Scorsese parents appear in the movie. His mum Catherine Scorcese was Tommy's mother and his father Charles played Vinnie. Samuel L. Jackson appeared in the film as Stacks for about 60 seconds as the guy Tommy kills while the other guy makes coffee. The real Henry Hill died in 2012 and appears on one of the commentaries on the DVD/Blu Ray.

BlackSheep

Dude, I had sympathy for Karen until she dragged her kids to the mistress's apartment and pointed a loaded cocked gun at Henry. At the end of the day, she has agency and decided to stay with Henry through all of it, and even admitted to being turned on by the violence.

Jenny Chalek

You're cracking me up with the fact that you kept saying "make him what?" LOL. Making him a made man.

Jonathan Vickers

Or maybe the "The Silence of the Lambs" sequel 'Hannibal' if you want to dislike his character while loving him as an actor. Brilliant. Ray Liotta's brain operated on a different level as most actors. I must say my two favorite acting choices on this 2nd rewatch are Joe Pesci picking up the truck driver's hat and throwing in the car as an editing concern, and Ray & DeNiro walking down the sidewalk and Ray's perfect realistic recovery after accidentally glancing into the camera. He went full force into being in the moment and dismissing the camera, he became a real person by checking the door and whatnot. That was probably a big learning moment for Mr. Liotta as an actor and we see it in subsequent films. Ever see him as Carl Jung's father in Blow? You can almost feel his love for Johnny Depp. 😊

Ben Wheeler

Field of Dreams for more Ray Liotta

Marlon Nicolle

Nat, if you’ve never seen The Mummy with Brendan Fraser, it is a must watch. Pretty sure most people here would agree.

Thunderstorm586

Fun fact the witness protection agent isn't an actor that was the actual agent the real Henry and Karen met with!

JarHead0351

Good movie but now watch Godfather which is good movie some say even better mafia & a classic- Grew up in Philly in the 60s-80s - Philly's Mafia Wars, seen it 1st hand and read the news papers...

Mike H

One of the best mob movies ever made, and a great reaction Nat. I wouldn't be so quick to discount or diminish the "Mob" today...go back to Syr. and look around, it's still a very active element. btw, loved the top you had on, made your eyes *pop*. 😘💛

Capt. Scott

This is one of my favorite movies ever. I was happy to finally see it on the polls.

Philip Davetas

Martin Scorsese also did AFTER HOURS. You watched TED LASSO, so in that second season Beard goes off on his own and goes on an nocternal adventure which is a take on Scorsese's AFTER HOURS. Hence, the title "Beard After Hours." He also did a movie called KING OF COMEDY which was carbon copied as a recent film called JOKER. But as far as GFs is conserned, I pretty much figured you'd walk away with your final analysis which is why I thought this would be an interesting watch with you. In the end, it's hard to root for anyone, but sometimes movies aren't about rooting for anyone in particular. Sometimes, especially, Martin Scorsese movies, it's about trying to understand a person or a world without having to live it yourself. Oh, man, don't get me started on SCARFACE or CARLITO'S WAY. Oops. To late.

warcrimes

"Everybody in this movie sucked" is a great line.

Mike Hell

This is such a good movie, and probably Liotta's best performance. I'd recommend adding The Sopranos to a poll in the future, since there are around 25 actors from that show in this movie alone.

Eryk Klukaczyński

Moral of this story is, in crime you always loose, sooner or later :)

dieselbeast

Hopefully Scarface, godfather and Carlitos way are on your next "crime" polls, this was excellent!

Michael G. Munz

I *really* wish she wouldn't call us "little golden grahams." :D

David Sumner

Check out the trivia section of IMDB. You learm so much about the real people.

David Sumner

According to US Attorney Edward MacDonald, who plays himself in the film, one important real life detail was left out of the scene of him sitting in the office with Henry and Karen Hill discussing entering the Witness Protection Program: Waiting outside of the office were two of Henry's mistresses whom he also wanted to be brought along into the program.

Mr. Avatar

Also the comedy "My Blue Heaven" is loosely based on Henry Hill's struggling suburban lifestyle with Steve Martin playing Ray Liotta's character.

Mr. Avatar

Oh also, the black guy that Pesci shot in the head was Samuel L. Jackson.

Matt Culture

i FEEL like after this and Departed, you need to Watch Casino, Scorsese film, with Deniro, Pesci and Sharon Stone

Powers209

I agree we need to watch "My Blue Heaven" now.

Ian Cano

It was worth subscribing to watch this reaction. 👍

dieselbeast

Love this movie so much I'ma watch you're reaction again!!! and I was drunk the first time towards the end so don't remember like the last thirty minutes of your reaction 😂

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

"Well, sucks to suck." Is that the best reaction to Tommy's party that I've seen so far? Lol, it might just be :)

Kiskotagan

Awesome reaction! You need to watch The Wolf of Wall Street sometime soon

Nicholas Farley

Now you need to watch The Sopranos on HBO Max :)

JarHead0351

would love to have her react to The Sopranos

John Rando

You made this much more fun to watch. I personally don’t love this movie but you made the little things about this more entertaining. But I do love Casino (1995). It’s like this movie’s twin directed by Scorcese with Deniro and Pesci playing the lead mafia guys. It’s actually pretty great, also based on a true story.

John Rando

I know, right? But writing wise, they’re both epic feats. Scorcese knows how to direct a movie with 100 details.

Gilbert Gonzalez

To recommend another Ray Liotta flick, and also because I think it would be fun to see you react to 90s Disney movies that I watched growing up, I recommend you watch Operation Dumbo Drop lol probably the first Ray Liotta movie I ever saw as a kid. Also in the 90s Disney category, I say definitely give Cool Runnings a watch too, that’s a classic for good laughs and both movies are kind of based on a true story lol

2026-09-06 12:00 Can we please vote to let Natalie FINALLY watch Matt Reeves' Planet of the Apes trilogy? She has said many times she really wants to watch them. She's a big Andy Serkis fan & Caesar is his BEST (if not most iconic) role. She also really liked Matt Reeves' directing for "The Batman." It's a slam dunk. Let's make it happen!
