I honestly don't think she'll watch Obi Wan. She hasn't even seen Book of Boba Fett yet although I'm sure she'll get into it some day. I'd love if she just plowed through all Daredevil's content (S1-S2-Defenders-S3) but I wouldn't mind a small break in between seasons. Hey, we had to wait years in between seasons, so there's no biggie :D

Hope you take it easy Nat! Don't put too much pressure on yourself and take a break if you need it. If I can recommend a movie to watch: Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds. It’s comedic but also depicts the world of videogames, streaming, and the possibilities of AR in a pretty realistic fashion. Good story overall, funny cameos, and amazing VFX.

Hello Nat! Yes You! Hello You! I have been waiting all season for you to react to this episode! The Karen vs. Wesley scene. And you did NOT disappoint GoldieNat! First off - people be underestimatin' Karen. When you said, "I don't think she has it in her"... I was like - oh yeah? Wait for a few more seconds! Your best reactions are when you are crying your makeup off, when you explode in uncontrolled laughter, and when you have this expression of bloodthirsty glee when villains get straight up mur derrred. Once you get your assistant/editor, they should edit up a compilation of all the times you say, "I'm not really into people getting killed" juxtaposed with all your giddiness when they get MERC'd. And finally - ARCANE? Only 9 episodes. Could be done in 3 weeks! You would not be disappointed! Nor would we! It's Amaaaaazing! We who are in the know know, ya know? Seeya tomorrow for Ep 12!

This episode had one of the most memorably unexpected endings ever. (Boring sidenote, in a tabletop RPG I once created an elven henchman NPC based on Wesley's character, and his... story arc was eerily similar.)

I agree completely. There's still Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, What If? Season 2 and 2 specials this year. I think Jessica Jones is the best Defenders show but I'd be happy to wait for Nat to see it until 2023.

Funny you mention how small the stakes are with Hell's Kitchen, that is part of what I really like about these Netflix shows. Much smaller local stakes but still great characters and moments. Even if you don't watch Luke Cage on the channel, I hope you do watch it on your own. The presentation of Harlem in that series is great environment building.

A second vote for The Ben Affleck Daredevil movie but please wait until after you are done with this Netflix series. It is not the best of movies but I would be curious to hear your thoughts on character development, lighting and so forth. You may even want to comment on the different casting choices for the different characters.

I love the symbolism so much in dd and im so glad they're giving him a second chance in the mcu. Free will v determinism. There this concept leplaces demon that states that if you had perfect knowledge of a system you'd perfectly know the outcome of the system (very large chaotic systems) implying hard derteminism. But due to the hisenbegs uncertainty principal you can never know both position and momentum simultaneously. And it leads to waves mechanics (yes I always bring up wave mechanics.) and multiverse stuff. Marvel is brilliant.

I like Wesley a lot more on this rewatch versus the first time I watched the show, but he had it coming with a move that stupid. It's extra-embarrassing because he tried to play it cool as if he hadn't made a huge mistake leaving the gun there

I know you have a life outside of this, but I miss the days when we would get at least two movies a week now it's dwindled to one and now we're at a week where you're not sure what you're gonna react to, is your love for movie reactions decreasing? I hope not, with that being said here are random suggestions I know some of your followers would also enjoy, the first two godfathers, Scarface, Carlitos way, the mummy and the mummy returns, Rocky's two three and four you randomly watched the first rocky then never came back around to the others lol I do enjoy reactions 😁

Eh, she doesn't need to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi or the Book of Boba Fett. At best, those shows are OK; watchable, but forgettable. Also, Disney needs to cool it with all the Star Wars and MCU content, and this is coming from a fan of both those franchises! Or, they could at least make quality content instead of overwhelming us with the quantity

I really liked how Fisk seems to almost tell Wesley he loves him, or something along those lines. But maybe it's a lot more impactful seeing him not say it when watching it for the second time.

It's kind of sad what happened to Wesley. I found his style and matter kind of interesting. His loyalty to Fisk was misguided, but his devotion to Fisk can be admired as it was unconditional. I wish we had learned more about his back story. How did he come into the employ of Fisk and what was it about Wesley's past the made him so enamored to him. But now that he is gone, the monster that is Fisk I suspect will only grow to be even more insane. Wow.

Late to it here, but I loved how this episode turned the obvious foreshadowing on its head. Everyone knows that after a character has a meaningful emotional conversation that seems to resolve a conflict and says something like, "talk to you tomorrow," they're about to be killed. Then BOOM! Bye bye Wesley! Karen may be annoying at times, but there's no doubt she a bad ass b***h.
