Rule #1 if you dont see the death on screen then it did not happen. Also the writing is really working since Nat cannot see Papa for who he really is which is a trouble man trying to fix his and Eleven mistakes.

Darryl Low

Happy Wednesday Nat. Excited to be watching the season 1 finale today 😊You did it Nat. you made it to the end of the season! And you've got one damaged knee to prove it. Thankfully you remembered the tissues for this one. Breaking the nervous tension with a song. And your Steve character assessment "He went from being a tool to kinda cool" was so funny 😄 Yet again the music and the vibes were incredible. Been really enjoyable watching along on this show with you Nat. Again, I have seen the next season, but can't remember much about it, so more fun discoveries ahead. Thanks for a fantastic reaction today Nat. Have a great day tomorrow 💛

Simon

Audio still off on one side, feels weird lol.

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! 😊 I've been looking forward to this one. As I mentioned before, this first season has been a first time watch for me. I started watching this show during its second season. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this first season ends. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Deadstar

The air isn't toxic in the other side only in the room where the entrance was.

Luis Camacho

its me or the audio is only on the left?

Ben Wheeler

Don’t know if it was apparent or if it was previously touched on but David Harbour (Hopper) played Natasha’s “dad” in Black Widow, and Johnathan was one of the kids in New Mutants

Patrick Egan

Your reactions to this show have been so much fun, I'm glad you've been enjoying it!

camilla

the Byers family deserves so much better… them being poor and Joyce battling with mental health issues in the past (anxiety disorder, Jonathan mentioned in ep 4) and on top of it all Will & Jonathan growing up with an abusive father (Lonnie) then him ending up abandoning them and all of this is WAY before all the supernatural stuff even begin to happen… just want them to get to live peacefully for once.

Troy

I forgot how much I loved season one! By contrast, I think season four was my least favorite, for reasons I can't get into without being spoilery, but it's just a personal preference. I liked how season one felt self-contained even as it hinted at some unresolved threads to be explored (also nicely referenced on a meta level at the end of Mike's DnD campaign. "It was too short! What about [such-and-such]?")

Eve

About Steve, the Duffer brothers were initially like ok he’s gonna be the asshole, no one’s gonna like him, stuff like that. They cast Joe Keery and were like shit he’s way too charismatic. They changed his character and gave him the redemption arc with helping Nancy and Jonathan fighting the Demogorgon which was supposed to be Jonathan’s dad helping them. Glad we got Steve instead :)

Kelli J Pope

So funny bc my ranking is almost totally opposite lol. For me it’s 2, 1, 4, 3. But I love ALL the seasons. Ranking them at all is hard for me.

Ana Fox

The finale is terrific! I looooved rewatching this season with you - it's a fantastic season. Now I'm even more excited to get into the rest. Uncharted waters for you, which will be a blast!

Skizane

So just to be clear Nat, are you going to continue to watch Stranger Things now, or are you putting it off to a later time while you watch other material? Personally I've seen seasons 1 and 2, but I've had a lot of fun watching season 1 alongside you. I don't remember much about season 2 and I think I'd really enjoy going through seasons 2-4 with you.

Darryl Low

According to her previous post, Nat will be back with ST Sn.2 next week 👍

Fostena

Season 1 is by far the best one. The scene with Hopper in the woods is the only demerit in my opinion. Eleven sacrificing herself to kill the monster was the perfect closure to their duality. Also the ambiguous "ending" of Dr. Brenner pissed me off a bit, it was a clear "let's end him but maybe not, maybe we will need him in future seasons if they greenlight them" (same as Eleven's ambiguous "ending"). My point is, if it were less open-ended the season would've been even better. I dig the scene at the end with Will vomiting slugs, it's a classic horror ending scare, a la Sam Raimi. Season 2 is good, 3 and 4 have their moments but overall are mediocre. Hopefully 5 will be the last one

Skizane

Fricken' awesome.

Ed Green

Interesting how widely opinions vary. I would put 3 on a par with 1 and 4 only narrowly behind, with 2 as firmly in last place. Can't wait to find out Nat's opinions.

Rosanne Stewart

Interesting fact to know is that the original intent was for Lonnie to show up at the Byers house and fight the monster with Jonathan and Nancy but the Duffers decided to redeem Steve instead. I am so glad they did because Steve has become one of my favorite characters. You will LOVE what they do with him going forward!

Jacob Bryant

I'd go 3>4>1>2 . I think there's some variety of opinion except perhaps that 2 is the weakest.

Myles Away

I did not like season 2 or 3 but season 4 was very good.

Myles Away

Redeeming Lonnie would have been so whack

rhaegar

Can’t wait to get to season 2! Also, do you have any plans to continue the Rocky series at some point?

Jenn Rose

I look forward to you continuing on with more seasons, so much more to go! Really excited to watch your journey through all of this!

Jenn Rose

Oh wow Season 4 is actually my favorite! I love all the seasons for different reasons so its hard to rank but 4 is my favorite and 2 is my least favorite (if I HAVE to choose a least favorite lol) with 1 and 3 tied in the middle. It's interesting hearing other peoples opinions though! Everyone has to have a least favorite I guess!

John Piazza

It’s funny how she always says comment down below in her patron YouTube videos when she has comments disabled on all of them 😝

camilla

right?! him helping them fight some monster would NOT have redeemed that abusive POS. glad they scrapped that

Riolkin

I know. Especially since in spite of all that burden, they are all 3 REALLY good people.

Thomas Richter

I can't tell if Nat is more afraid of the monster or the desk.

Marty McGee

She says that for the benefit of her YT viewers for when her edited video goes up. Patrons comment here.

Marty McGee

So glad I decided to give this series a go when you started reacting to it. It's become one of my favorites. I normally don't like the horror stuff, but it's not too bad so far. Though season 3 is starting to really creep me out. The story and characters are what I love. So well written. I mean how is it I can care so much about Barb when she was only on screen about 5-10 minutes total. Can't wait for your reaction to season 2. I really enjoyed it!

John

I had the worst day at work, and although I love watching the best episodes on Fridays, im glad I got to end this day watching the finale with you. Thanks Nat!

Troy

To be clear, my reaction to Season 4 isn't a criticism of the season's quality or anything; it's well-done and all the acting is top-notch. My reasons for it being my least favorite are both personal and also would spoil major plotpoints for Nat, so we can't really go into it. I'll just say it's an element that I don't think was ever a thing in the first three seasons. (Or if it was, I must have blocked it.)

Dante

I wouldn't say by far. I think 1, 3, and 4 are all around the same quality. 1 definitely has the tightest writing, but the other seasons really do have so much to offer and bring a lot to the table that 1's smaller scale couldn't do. And yes, season 5 is confirmed to be the last season.

Bryan Bryan

S2 trailer might be one of the greatest trailers for any movie, tv show or whatever has a trailer. Be cool to react to

Boomcity

You're in for a real treat. This is truly a fantastic series that somehow combines the humor and adventure of a kid's movie with the horror and sci-fi of a late-night movie you'd catch on a Saturday night as a kid. You really grow to love these characters.

Boomcity

Yeah, we should ask that when she finishes a season she watches the trailer for the next season to get her hyped. Though she may just want to avoid everything and go in blind. lol

Chris Gronau

Yeah, I had to play some other videos to make sure it wasn't a problem with my system. My right speaker works fine, but the audio for this was only on the left side....

Neon Ghost

Audio still coming in mono on YouTube

Rosanne Stewart

Fair warning, S4 gets more horror-ish by quite a lot. Not trying to scare you off; I'm not a fan of horror either and I handled it okay. But it's definitely the most intense season.

Rosanne Stewart

Anybody else psyched for S3 just to watch Natalie go nuts for Robin?

adrianR31

We are elated that you're enjoying the show<3

Andrew Minton

PLEASE continue this series ASAP, it's SO good.

Joshua s. Jackson

I was just a couple of years younger than those kids back in 83 and I can tell you that this shows exactly what it was like growing up in the 80's. Even the title sequence is so 80's.

Grace Severi

can you please watch ms marvel soon

Flo

I see I’m pretty much alone in really liking season 2 haha 4 is my favourite but 2 comes very close behind that then 1 is close behind 2 and 3 is definitely my least favourite

Flo

I much prefer the video timer counting down, just like it does on Netflix

SmokeAndACoffee

Why are people so dang jaded these days!? There is not a single season of Stranger Things that qualifies as "meh" or mediocre, and of the entire series, only one episode that is kinda skip-worthy on rewatches (but the first time watching it's still really interesting, and cool). Everyone is gonna have a favorite season/s (4 is so amazingly top notch imo!), but all this "*lifts pinky finger while sipping tea* Ooh well the first season was just soooo faaaar superior, and this yadda yadda season was just drivel in comparison. Blah blah blah while I eat some of my caviar..." geez. Y'all arm-chair critics need to go start a blog or something; damn nay-sayers. Stranger Things is the BEST! \m/(-_-)\m/

SmokeAndACoffee

...and yes, I've given some neg-reviews/thoughts on a show on here; deep diving and nit-picking, but that was because the fans of a "show-that-shall-remain-nameless-in-this-post" were being lil crap heads, so it was fun to give a nice little jab at them a bit xD ;)

Rich House

You really had me thinking there would be more than one comment talking about lack of quality of certain seasons

Mr Booligan

Can't wait for season 2! Watching this for the first time myself

Brian Jones

+10 points for the proper use of the word toxic. You sir, win a prize.👍

Marty McGee

That's what I've heard. I heard described as body-horror. Not sure what that means exactly, but it brings to mind things like Rob Zombie films which I could not handle. But I'll give it a go for ST because I'm so invested in the characters.

Brian Jones

Great reaction as always. As many others have mentioned I would suggest watching the trailers for the seasons (before or after you watch the seasons), as they were really well put together. As many have mentioned, the audio is left channel only and has been for the last two reactions. I'd also strongly recommend a compressor/limiter plugin for the sound as well, as the volume of your reactions varies wildly. Just some friendly suggestions.

Brian Jones

Body horror would be more along the lines of David Cronenberg (The Fly, Scanners, Existenz, Naked Lunch, etc...) films. Zombie is more just traditional gore. But honestly, season 4 isn't that bad. It certainly ratchets things up a bit (partially because the kids are older, and the core audience is older), but the new characters it introduces are priceless, and it's just so well written and directed that it would be a shame to miss it.

Brian Jones

Agreed. I was a few years older, but they did a remarkable job recreating the look and feel of the 80's. Part of the reason why the show is so endearing to adults as well as kids based purely on nostalgia. It also, much like the films and media of the time, doesn't shy away from going full on horror when it's called for. The title sequence is a direct rip of the book covers from the period by authors such as King, Rice, and Koontz. The font is identical. Kind of ironic that the directors/writers/creators of the show weren't born until 84.😏

Joshua s. Jackson

The first novel I ever read was "The Bad Place" by Koontz.😂🤣

Jaden Meijer

Is the audio only in the left channel for anyone else?

LightsCameraJake

Def some stereo/mono issue with the mic settings there.

2026-09-06 12:00 For those that don't know how to solve the left-ear only issue. Temporary fix is: Windows Settings > Ease of access > Audio, and on the right panel just toggle "Turn mono audio" to "ON". You lose stereo sound, but at least Nat is heard in both ears. Don't forget to turn off afterwards.

Another solution is install extension audio channel in chrome or edge. It has the added bonus of a compressor which can make the quiet audio on the same level as the louder audio. (which is handy on reaction video's where they put original audio more quiet).

SmokeAndACoffee

All that being said, I can't wait for Nat to get to season 4. I really love all the seasons, but 4 hit some deep emotional chords with me. xD As always, excellent reaction, Nat; and can't wait to see ya get into the next season!

Steve

I'd love it if she reacted to the two Stranger Things videos from Bad Lip Reading on YouTube. Even if no reaction, they are pretty funny, in my opinion, and I suspect she'd dig them.

TONYA JACKSON

I like to imagine Hopper walks out of the hospital and says to himself as he lights the cig "Welp, looks like my work here is done" Lmao

Eduardo Cifuentes

Are you taking a break in between seasons or are you planning on starting season two next week

Darryl Low

According to her previous poll post, Nat will be back with ST Sn.2 next week 😊

Cripkie

why do they always cut the hand in movies for blood? the crazy amount of nerves in the palm would make it excruciating but they always just slightly flinch. idk that trope just always bothered me.

Sinewmire

I know, right! How about the back of the forearm or something that you aren't constantly flexing and moving, with a bunch of tendons and the like? It's like when they always cut rope instead of untying people.

Kevin Mowery

This always annoys me. Not only is it a really painful place to cut, it's really dangerous, and you might need to use that hand later. I'd love to see a show where someone needs a bunch of blood so they cut their foreheads like a pro wrestler.

Fostena

I just rewatched S2E1. I'm sorry, I thought "The Gang" was in season 3. Ok so for me now is 1>3>2>4, with 2 being in third place because it introduces Max and the relationship between Eleven and Hopper is very nice. Also, honestly, I like Bob (Sean Astin).

Eric Wallace

Patreon wigged out on me when i switched payment methods and dropped Ms. Gold for me for like 3 weeks. I hadn't realized how much of my weekly routine was built around this Patreon until it was gone. Im very happy to be back

Andrew Skow

She could fix it and re-upload it.

Slick447

As the Director of a public library in a small town, Natalie's disappointment at seeing that Joyce and Hopper need to go to the library was pretty funny :D
