Content

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I last created a poll or an internal post here, so I think it’s time! I’d love to hear from you about the kind of content you want from me, what you might find less appealing, and what you generally expect from a subscription to my Patreon.

My goal: I want you to feel comfortable and get exactly what you’re hoping for. If you have ideas for new content—things I haven’t done here yet but could bring in the future—feel free to share those as well!

To make it a bit more organized, I’ll try to set up a poll where you can cast your vote and let me know what kind of content you’d like to see. In the poll, you can cast multiple votes, meaning you don’t have to limit yourself to just one topic—you can choose several. Feel free to leave a comment as well for anything that’s not listed. I might be able to add it in later!

Your Content is awesome in some cases. deep wizardry, clear minded and always high quality. I wish you did a course to make house with all the specialities that Bitwig delivers to create organic an human tracks. I would pay for this ;-)

EBM (Front 242) and Industrial (Nine Inch Nails), these genres would be interesting how to build an arrangement and presets.

Carl Caulkett

I'd love some tutorials on Dub Techno, particularly on using Bitwig-only devices to achieve that spacey Dub Techno chord sound 🙏🏽

Jan Howell

Some of the content is really what I am looking for to help me make music. Some, less so. But I enjoy them all. For me, your videos are a small but meaningful improvement in my life. Keep them coming...

Travis Basso

I love all your content and have learned so much! I also pick up plugins you use but aren’t the focus of videos, like Chroma and Oscope etc. would love to see more how you mix and master your tracks. I love your music too and would be curious to see you do also like jungle or 90s style ambient DnB/Jungle

Koz Myk

I think the variety of your topics is fine. Keep doing what you're doing. 👍

Steve Betteridge

I'd be really interested to know if your mixing and mastering techniques have developed since you did that set of 2 (3?) videos that went through your process. But I always watch you whatever you're up to. You da man!

Marek Jedliński

I admit that I've been drifting off after you posted three (I think) videos on the kick drum. What's the big deal about the kick drum? Vangelis didn’t need for one, and neither did Tangerine Dream on any of their good albums (I know I’m probably offending a lot of people with this statement, too bad 😊) More generative Bitwig content, please, and yes, let’s talk about those bugs and missing features, too, apparently they listen to you! Oh, and what interesting uses do you have for the relatively new Shift Register?

gldnpyramid

polyrhythms/polymeters, arpeggiators, Bitwig instrument settings, and track arrangement are the things I am trying to learn about but I love all of your Bitwig tutorials. thanks

I personally missed the Plugin Remake section... which is still awesome! Making music from your point of view is always an inspiration, bud.

You are a great teacher and I've learned from you. The knowledge you have collected and shared is priceless. Suno captured my heart recently, and I can get two sample results for an idea in literally 30 seconds. When I hear some song in my mind nag me more than a few times, I might go download a MIDI file (if I can find it), and I like bringing it ACID (quickly.. quickly..) or slowly into Bitwig. If I had invested more time to get more experience.. I'm 64, listened to Youtube, Camel live last night.. lovely Latimer reminds me of the amazing expression coming from the Cascade duo, dude. (experience is priceless).

And as I see from the current votes, other DAWs are NOT of interest. Bitwig RULEZ. ;)

icaria36

I like that you always remain open to specific suggestions. Someone asks a good question in the comments, and you come back a week later with a short video addressing it, and therefore filling that gap that existed.

Pavel Kopp Guldager Novak

I'm a newbie and just bought my bitwig license. I like to see different topics, but i found your latest "Galaxy brain automation" particularly inspiring as it shows a good way to use bitwig

Michael Lohmeyer

I basically clicked on "more Bitwig stuff" in the poll, but I enjoy most of what you do and I am happy with your content. Of course, you should make videos about what you enjoy as that makes the best content. One item that i didn't see in the poll was more "demonstrations of VSTs, but then showing how to do a similar thing in Bitwig." These are great videos because they show off a VST and then show off Bitwig all in a single video. Thanks for all your efforts!

Fedor Guzev

Theory concepts and recreation of existing vst/hardware stuff is the most valuable thing for me

Mike McClure

I recently bought a Digitakt 2, in a step out of the box. I'm new to the whole ecosystem, and I haven't gotten back to it since overbridge was updated to support it, so that's a whole new world. I've had some complications routing MIDI controllers to both it and Bitwig, so that sort of stuff would be cool, thanks!
