I wanted to make a special post about the Polarity Dispenser, and this project is basically the result of my attempts to bring all my downloads together in a better tool.

👉 Dispenser: https://polarity.productions/dispenser/

A lot of people here on Patreon have been asking me where to find certain downloads, and it can be a bit tricky to locate things here. So, I thought I'd create a tool that makes it super easy to find all the downloads.

To use the tool, all you need is a Patreon account. You can log in on the site with your Patreon account, and then you'll have access to the relevant downloads. There's a search feature, and you'll also find the Bandcamp codes for your account there, so you can grab a code without worrying about someone else snatching it up.

tl;dr: It's a tool to manage and easily find codes, downloads, and so on, and it will probably be available in the future for YouTube subscribers too, to keep everything centralized. Nothing will change here on Patreon; everything will stay the same. It's just a new central tool for the downloads. I hope that works for you all!

Polarity Dispenser

This generative grid creates pad sounds, little bleeps, a bass line, drums, kicks, snares, and the snare sounds a bit like a rimshot (phaser+), and yeah, it's all more or less generative. You can draw your own melody in the Scrawl oscillator up top, and then it behaves totally differently.

Neat idea! Could encourage patrons to tier up. Tried claiming a Bandcamp code. Expected it to copy a specific code. It revealed a generic phrase which doesn’t work as a code, even when spaces are converted to hyphens and capital letters are lowercased.

When I claim a bc code I only see this string - "Your code: date exported: Sep-22-2025". No code.

Awesome idea! Hmm, it tells me my support (polarity squad) is insufficient, I need basic support. I'm guessing that's not intended

polarity_music

for which entry? for one download? for one bandcamp code?

Ian Cook

It says that for the Bandcamp code. For everything else it just says "Locked" with no explanation, even the items listed as free

Lakyn

That was Disentchanted. I just tried the rest and only Phenomenon gave actual code. Other releases give "date created: xxxxxxxx" and Pads, Melodies & Drums gave "Your code: album: Pads, Melodies & Drums". Strange stuff :)

Teething troubles incomming I see. I got quite confused. I'll wait for the dust to settle ... P.S. A Date column would be helpful 👍

polarity_music

Ok the access thing should work now :) At least it does for me! Thanks for reporting.

polarity_music

Thank you. I think it's fixed now. I mass imported the codes from Bandcamp via CSV. And my importer sneeked some random meta text into the db for each release as code. Its removed and the importer fixed! :D thanks for reporting! Let me know if it works!

Lakyn

All good now :) Danke!

Ian Cook

Works for me, now, too!

Great idea!

Nice idea, wish other creators would do similar..
