Polarity-MD Native & new Features (Patreon)

It took a little while, but I’ve revamped the Polarity-MD. The GUI is now native, which means there’s no more Webkit dependency for the interface. It should run faster too. The interface should also zoom now instead of just breaking like a webpage. So, it behaves like a regular plugin.

There are some new features as well, and it would be great if you guys could give it a try. Let me know if anything isn’t working or if there are any issues, since I can’t test everything on my own machines. So, I’m sharing this with my Patreons first. If you have any feedback, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, I’ll release it to everyone else in the next few days since it’s a free download anyway.

Analyzer improvements

Added phase and pre-ringing mode explainer diagram in the analyzer (Min-Phase vs L-Phase visual)

Added dashed slope overlay guides showing ideal crossover band shapes

Crossover slopes now adapt correctly when bands are placed close together (min-phase mode)

Derived crossover preset highlighting - the named preset (Mastering, OTT, etc.) lights up when the current crossovers match it

UI / Layout

Pro mode rows fully restored - each stage card expands with Clip, Attack, and Release when Pro is enabled

Smoother editor resize and repaint on Linux

Tightened overall editor layout and default window sizing

Polished meters and analyzer header layout

Tightened corner radius on band split preset buttons

Header button colors aligned with the previous web UI style

X-Over Slopes - change between 12db/24db/48db filter slopes

Live latency updates now work correctly when toggling OS (oversampling) and L-Phase at runtime

Stability

Fixed CLAP hang in Bitwig Studio 5 on Windows when unloading two instances after a cold start
