bro, this is why I didn't vote for the tech update. Even though it's needed to help further the development of the game, its gonna take time, it takes them already about 6-8 months for 1 character update with staffing. I would rather have the complete main 20+ character stories, and scenes. with the already existing backgrounds and limitations so we can get the full game outta the way the father's murder, prom, dating simulator, sex club etc.

than having the tech update as a part 2 of an already existing game, bringing all the limitations and new places added to the game at [one time]. being that the game itself would become way more diverse and take forever to finish being having a lot of art and a heavy workload. there is a reason not only are they remaking every scene they have ever made, they are also changing the back end of the game, stuff that users won't see but will undoubtedly help with future development. Is it taking to long yes, but its also a much larger update than what most people think, this is by far the largest update they have done.

I think you need to work on your wording and being more being more upfront with everyone. Saying "in the coming weeks" generally gives the implication of being within the month. I think you need to come clean with your patrons, that you might be having difficulties with the upcoming tech update. Transparency is key here and waiting over a month to then tell everyone just wait a bit longer. Probably isn't helping the situation.

Hmm thought this last pre-tech update would have come a few weeks back given the last post indicated weeks. This does not bode well for my hopes of playing the tech update (start game from scratch) during my hard earned time off work End of December-Early January. Ironically a number of games I back have had re-dos, refactors etc and are not tracking well for a fresh play through (I rebuilt my PC and forgot to backup saves). Fingers crossed anyway.

Okay, I think people need to chill on some level. Yes, waiting for the tech update has been frustrating, but we knew it was going to take a while. I'm pretty sure along the way DC and his team decided to take the time to add in things that wasn't intended to be in there but felt it was the best time to do it. Also the pandemic as well as IRL shit occurred that probably delayed it further (like DC getting sick). For those of you quitting watch the streams to get a better idea of what is going on. Beginning of game states: Getting prom date (dating not yet in) Getting grades up (PE teacher path not yet in) and getting money (this is in) so there is still a lot to add regarding 'main' content imho.

All we know is that the game's "tech update" was originally scheduled for two times. Not five times. The update is already wasting nearly nine months, and no one KNEW or expected it to be this long.

I actually believe there is more "main story" to come. I think the Russian Mafia stuff is pretty much wrapped up, but there's still the entire "dating" aspect that hasn't been given any attention because the individual story arcs aren't all done. But according to the beginning goals, the MC still needs a date for the dance...so all of that mechanic is yet to come. With the bowling alley being added as a potential date site, I think the stage has started to be set though.

Not to be that person, but the tech update was, quite literally, rebuilding the entire game. I'm not sure what everyone expected, but it should have been this. The game has been out for a WHILE and thinking that rebuilding it from the ground up would be quick™ is pretty naïve. The extras have been a good way to show the team's appreciation for people sticking around. Hopefully there are more in store when the tech update goes live.

Ok so here is the deal, if you are complaining about paying too much then just give a dollar. One dollar a month is twelve a year or about a single month's Netflix subscription. I lose more than that on coffee a week so I can put it here and at least get something every once in a while. Even if something is released only once a year you still get your money's worth.

Dec of 2018 is when i subbed it went the jenny update, eve then mainstory update. Thats all in coming up on 4 years. I remember voting for Rhonda, annie and Judith with rhonda being done in 2020, annie in 2021 and judith by 2022. You know when they had deadlines for updates on their website.

as above mentioned, a house in the rift, once in a lifetime (that is completed now) eternum (made by the same guy that made once in a lifetime) a town uncovered, mythic manor, corruption, knight of love, milfy day, depths revival, my bully is my lover and so many more, all made by only a few people or just one person and still releases updates more frequently that DC, plus the ones that have been around as long have so much more content in them
