2024 has been a crazy eventful year for me, from attending my first ever art convention as a vendor, to launching the artbook I’ve been working on for the past couple of years. It’s been surreal. BUT at the risk of sounding cheesy - nothing in the world means more to me than the incredible support you have shown me! Thanks for being here and creating this amazing community with me! Thanks for putting your faith in me to help you on your art journey! It’s an absolute honour and blessing! :)

I’ve got some plans for patreon and my art in general in 2025, it’s gonna be a great year, I can feel it! Lets go into the new year with fresh goals and an open mind! Wishing you a fantastic new year!

(For January, I’d like to start the year with a refreshed skin tutorial, I’ll aim to cover different skin types, tones, as well as textures, with some elements from our most recent texture tutorial. For February, we’ll have a tutorial on different types of hair. My goal here is to get you guys all the tools you need to be able to draw your own characters, whether it be from imagination or from reference. So that you can get closer and closer to realizing your goal of creating your own worlds, or comics, or animations, whatever it may be! :)

Happy February! Hope you’re off to a great start for 2025!

As always, your rewards from January are now available for download on gumroad! They will be archived there and you can access them at any time using the link or access code below! :)

For the next couple of months, I’d like to shift our tutorial attention to character anatomy! The plan is to break down some key anatomical structures in the body + proportions and important measurements. Then in more upcoming tutorials we can also discuss simplifying those shapes, pushing and pulling stylization etc. :)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support. I’m really grateful to be able to help you and so many others on your art journeys. This is an honour I’ll never take for granted and I promise to keep trying to make a positive difference in the community! I hope you’ll get some time to draw this month, keep pursuing your passion and find joy in the learning process! We’re all on this journey together :)

(PS. for anyone in north america who pledged on kickstarter for my book and still haven’t gotten a copy yet. I’ve spoken with 3dtotal about the situation and made sure that they prioritize sending those orders out before anything else. Please reach out to them via email if you’ve been waiting for your order and let them know your situation. Frankly, the failure with fulfillment is unacceptable to me, and I will absolutely take this negative experience into account for any future projects. My apologies for anyone who was affected by the fulfillment delays and I promise to do better going forward!)
