How about “how to draw facial expressions” because idk if I’m the only one, but I get really well on composition but then the facial expression doesn’t work well with the pose or energy of the drawing

The eyes are one of the most important features in a character. I'm going for that now. Sam please show us not just how to draw pretty and believable detailed eyes but also how to draw eyes that you can feel their stare is real and alive, like they can look at you in your eyes and touch your soul😍 thanks!

IMO you can learn about composition in a lot of other reliable places, so I'd rather get insight on how he stylizes eyes since that's one of a kind information

Even if I’m fine with any choice, I think composition is one of the fundamentals because our work can be super pretty if the armature isn’t right the piece won’t work 😭 Also for the next tutorial I think water and/or rainy scenes could be really interesting to study! 🌊🌧

2026-09-06 13:00 It feels as though some of these are being repeated, I love all the options, but you've covered them quite a lot already, it would be great to expand on other things! I really like the idea that Heure said about the water/rainy scenes, I've always wanted to learn about that. And even like, animals, since you do a lot of them. But anyway, just an idea, keep up the great work! :D

I think a video on color would be nice. I feel like it's really easy to mess up on picking the right ones. For example, what would be a good color scale for skin in situations where there may be dramatic lighting or a lot of gradients going on? I tried basing my colors off of reference images and for some reason, it always comes out really muddy when i go to paint it all in :/

Repeats are bound to happen. And the older tutorials which cover certain topics might be completely outdated or irrelevant to the way I work today. I won't ever make an exact identical tutorial to one i've made before because there will always be growth and changes

I would love to see a "How to color like ROIT artists?" in the future, because I don't know where to find tutorials on this topic nor do I find an artist thet explain their style. I juat love their style, bc it is sharp. It makes so much sense from a far but not much up close.

How to draw and render different types of hair; for some reason my erase brush in photoshop does not do the same thing as yours for erasing into highlights, with the same brush settings and everything; im using the exact same brush as you; i have no idea what im doing wrong :'(

Sam removes the tutorials for each month once the month is over, if you’re a patron for that month he will send you a code and you can access on his Gumroad page. So if you weren’t a patron for the previous months you can only access on Gumroad. Makes it fai for his long time supporters, who pledge every month
