Merry Christmas Everyone! Here's one of my fav recent environment pieces i wanted to share with you guys :) I initially found inspiration for this piece from a reference image I spotted on Pinterest. It's mostly environmental focused, and I borrowed a lot of the scale based storytelling elements that you often see in the works of Jocelin Carmes. The main thing to get right in this piece was the composition, I chose something more centred and balanced. The colours were also very crucial. I always like to think of sunsets as a smooth fade from blue to orange. Within that spectrum you'll find teals and yellows as well, Most of the smooth sky is painted using a large airbrush. I'll attach the original files below for download along with the reference I used for inspo and colour ref! Hope you guys enjoy :)
