Love all of these videos! I do have a question though; how do you use the trace? Watercolor paper is not transparent. Please help. Thanks

Ellen Crimi-Trent

Get transfer paper put on top of watercolor paper put trace on top of that then trace with a pen- or use a light box or tape trace to a widow / paper on top then trace ( cheap light box)

Mame

Always enjoy your Christmas videos, they inspire me to get my paints out and make some happy!

Have you ever added feathers for a Victorian element? And how to paint a pheasant tail feather, peacock, or blue jay feathers. I regularly am blessed with finding feathers laying on the ground. I would like to add those to a Christmas ornament.

Ms-Kari

This looks so vintage and lovely! If I add some skulls, pine cones and feathers, will appeal to Goth family members.

Really enjoyed watching this! Beautiful❤

Love the drawing lesson -getting ideas for my Christmas cards--did a deer acryllic painting over the weekend came out pretty good the late Wilson Bickfords book--was thinking of getting stencils-but think i should just learn to draw more so i checked into your site and found some wonderful ideas with drawing ink--hoping to get some next few weeks used to have it but never used it-your pointsetta is just beautiful-but i didnt really hear you say how you did this-always wanted to do pointsettas mine always look terrible---saw alot of colors--easier for us if you use a limited palette-Wilson does this alot---this way its not soo expensive like one tube of acryllic Ultramaine is 20 bucks plus 1 or 2 bucks---i saw your etsy shop im on there--the shipping is way high there--like your paintings thinking of switching to acryllic in january love your impressionistic acryllic paintings all great! Have a blessed Holiday!!

I’ve had so much fun doing the holiday paintings over the past few weeks, thanks so much for your tutorials! I have a question for you, what are the five brushes and sizes you would recommend for watercolor. I want to get five brushes or my daughter for Christmas and thought I’d check with you before I purchase. She’s a beginner. Thanks Ellen and Happy Thanksgiving!

Rosanne Coaker

I couldn't be happy at you than the way. Mine turned out. I added some gold as you suggested and it really looked great. Thanks so much.
