You asked I am here to help- how to paint clouds, tips on water control and figuring out why you either have too much or not enough. How to hold the brush- we are starting small so you do not get overwhelmed!!!

Once you feel confident try these same landscapes BIGGer - you have to practice its the ONLY way to get better you have to practice on GOOD paper- NOT cheap pulp paper thats is the key- it makes no sense to try to paint a beautiful sky on a strathmore or canson paper it needs to be 100% cotton cold press!

Totally agree with you re:paper. Once I started using the good paper my whole watercolor experience improved, along with the results. As one of my classmates says: “Life is short; use the good paper.”

Trudy Apple

I would just like to add that people, especially beginners, often keep dipping their brush in the water so the paint gets wetter and wetter . keep a paper towel under the water container.

Julia Lowe

Thanks so much. Very helpful!!!

Hi Ellen, my name is ML and I’m coming to your workshop in New York. I’ve never seen NY in December so I’m expecting a magical time. I have a question for you about the workshop. I can’t find a confirmation email about it. The payment was made so it’s on for sure. Would an email come from you or a representative? Thanks in advance, ML Parr mlparr126@gmail.com
